hey i got an idea. how about having a seperate thread for video game reviews for people that are unsure about buying a certain game. anyone?

So we make reviews about games on a thread. It would be ok. Aslong as we don't make 10 reviews a day.

You would have to name each thread after a game, and everyone can post there review in that thread. Because if you don't, there will be like 10 topics for the same game, and it will get annoying.
Secondly, it must be a LEGIT review. None of this – “The game froze on me, so it gets a 0″ or “I'm saying it sucks, just because i want to, no reason” or “MW2 is the best”. You need to write out a review which is going to say what you like about the game, areas of improvement, and why you would recommend it or not recommend it.
This could be a good idea, i would be in for it, just got to wait for the response from the Admin..

We should have a way of writing it that everyone must do. Like some guidelines that we all follow if we write a review.
So;
A rating for sound, graphics, innovation and gameplay.
And a basic review of things like the way it plays, it's story, exciting-ness and what-not.

If Admin were to approve it maybe a new section called game reviews or something. A good review would follow this basic layout: A description of the game, what you liked, what you didn’t like, areas the devs could improve and a trophy difficulty rating and overall game rating.

It was just an example… not aimed at you.. i'm just trying to say that you can't write a review like: This game gets a 10 out of 10 because it is the best, end review.
I used MW2, because that seems to be the game everyone is currently playing.. geeze man.
Really hope this happens.. could bring in some more people to this site!

I reckon there should be some guide lines. I think overall, it should be rated out of 100 or out of 10 but with decimals (5.5 or 7.9 or whatever)

Good idea.
Miiiitch – OI would hold on with a trophies though. U can finish the gamr once and not get all the trophys. Remember that some of the all hidden so it's hard to rate them unless U get them all.
