Thanks Shadeblack.
Since I just completed it on survivor, and I harvester all the sisters I probably won't be able to get all the tonics so I'll be trying it on my prev. save file which is on easy. I saved al the little sisters here but I also bought a lot of health upgrades & slots … so I don't think I will be able to buy all of the tonics since I'm probably low on ADAM. Gahh this means that I probably have to start over again and complete it for the 3rd time in one week.. ¬¬ Well it's worth a platinum I guess …

yeh just passin through, new to the site n all, and with the tonics you have to find them and create not buy em, coz i got all 58 tonics and didnt get the tonics trophy then i read it again it didnt say anything about buying them so i googled 'bioshock tonic locations' and there you go, a list of 44 tonics you can find and somewhere else is a list of the ones you gotta create

there are 58 in total. you cannot 'find' them all. some are only available in the galthere's garden.
as a side note, you should not spend any ADAM on tonics untill you get all your slots and plasmid slots done, as well as your health. don't worry about eve because you don't need much at all. do it that way, and you will have PLENTY of ADAM to spare, since the tonics get cheaper, and you do find a couple of them around here and there.

… I'm missing ONE damn f*cking tonic, I got 57 !! GAHHHH !!!
Back to my homework, gonna do some more research and figure out which one I'm missing, I'm sooooooooo close to my 3rd platinum, just one damn more tonic gahhhh

I just finished bioshock on survivor too! Another hard earned platinum!!!
I actually found the survivor difficulty fairly easy once i researched all the bad guys! Anyone else think the same as me? The wrench and crossbow are the best weapons to use. Wrench is awesome with full research and supporting tonics! Just a little hint for people there ;)
I also experienced a glitch with my survivor playthrough……the game let me harvest the same little sister twice for double ADAM!!! What the???

eh? are you sure it wasn't just another little sister from the drain pipes. there are more than one in each level.
personally i used the crossbow a lot, but the wrench!? nah never used the wrench.

I loved to make bigass traps with shock bolts and mines to lure a daddy trough it. I once made such a big trap that my ps3 actually lagged when the daddy got nuked!

that sounds expensive :S
i just got the security plasmid and waited until a big daddy was under a security camera. tag the big daddy and then eventually he dies because of all the security bots attacking him. you don't even have to lift a finger doing it that way. lol.

Yes im sure shadeblack. I've been through the game three times. Once to harvest all the little sisters, the next to save all the little sisters and the next to do nothing to the little sisters except the first one. But anyway there was a glitch. I just took down a big daddy, i walked over to the little sister and harvested her…..then the same one appeared in front of me again so i harvested her again!!!
I used the wrench on everything except the big daddys…..they deserve incendiary bolts and exploding bucks!!!
Using full research and wrench jockey 1 and 2 and research bonus tonics, the 2 swing faster tonics plus the gain health when do damage with wrench tonic, (i forgot the names)…..taking down every enemy besides big daddys is a breeze…..you just keep hitting them in the head with the wrench, they get stunned and u keep hitting them over and over…..while gaining life.

i think that's the beauty of this game really. there are so many different ways you can play it. one style might suit one person whereas another suits another.
games like that are usually well thought out and deserve to be played.
can't wait till bioshock 2!

I totally agree. This is a must buy for anyone that wants a game with amazing replay value. I have played thru several times already and it never gets old for me. I LOVE this game.

I already own it on the 360 and it's a great game, one of the best for that system. If there's enough new material I might consider getting it for the PS3 aswell.
