It would appear that this is a new gamemode , apparently the host was able to hack the IW servers and make this . I dont really see the objective or point to it except getting Quad RPGs and ruining your Kill Death Ratio , but it can be good fun .

Very fancy, in a kind of shooty way. I mentioned this in another thread, but wasn't sure what the game mode actually consisted of. And now I know that it's nothing exciting. :/ Ah well.

if i did that mode i wouldn't try to capture the nuke lol. just pick em all off and you can get a nuke from a killstreak

I doubt it will be publicly released if the host of that game hacked the IW servers and created the mode, unless IW like the looks of it and change the name slightly…

i doubt they'll make us pay for it either (well at leat certaintly not pc versions of the game) because the modes are already on the disc, so technically we've already payed for them, and why cut the content and not full get rid of the coding, it does seem bizarre, oh and there is another two modes along with this one.

You say u will not have to pay but RES5 had the DLC on the disk for 360/PS3 and it had to be payed for, i dont know if it was the same for PC.
What are the other 2 game modes???

He has a point mate, IW aren't really ones to be pleasing their fanbase. They did 1 map pack for COD4 and Trey did 3. (Or was it 4…?) Anyway, their game lasted a whole year longer than COD5 in the popularity side of things and they never bothered to patch many glitches or give us new content. If they bring anything new out, we will have to pay.
As you can tell, IW aren't my favourite devs lol

is this going to be an actual mode? Im pretty confused..
It looks kinda weird.. i mean, you can go so many kills by spamming grenades and whatnot.. its pretty much like headquarters, except with a nuke. Not really a “new” mode. Should've done something more innovative or something. I'll download it if it is free, but other than that, no way.

this will be fun, and if you know a good place to defend of, your kills ratio will defo go up. looks like there'll be snipers!

because im a game developer right? Thats exactly what i mean. I dont know, but its not my job to know. IW are the game developers. It is there job to think of creative things, not mine. IW did make the mode they just blocked it from being played or something, the guys just hacked it and found the coding for four game modes that were `hidden` the four modes are;
Global thermonuclear war
One Flag (CTF)-one flag in the middle, each team has to try and get it
VIP-one guy on one team is vip, he has to get to a location, other team has to kill him before he does so

i dont think a hacker could create a game mode and kog's right i reckon.
btw this is completely fresh, new and will be innovative to many except you by the looks of it strange enough. i'll defo be trying this out if it is as it looks a load of fun.

it looks like the guy hacked into the servers and found the game mode, if he was able to make it from scratch then IW have some big security issues on their servers.
IW did make new game modes for COD4, so they might be making these for MW2. I think they will charge but we will have to wait.

yes, i think kog is right, i misunderstood the whole hacking thing.
I want too much out of a game mode from this game, because it is supposedly “the greatest game ever” and the “best thing for video games” so why not have modes that have never been done before or ones that will change the genre?
If IW is so great, like everyone exclaims they are, then why cant they pump out some top quality DLC?

might not look top of the range, but it defo aint $hit, looks very good and i bet most will like it.
change the genre? theres TPS modes which add extra genre and this has never been done before, sure it didnt take much thinking by IW but at least they know we want more fun.

Well i believe that the Best DLC are from Treyarch. Please think what worth more its money Variety map fo COD 4 with only online maps or Map pack 3 in COD5 witch had new multiplayer maps and a zombie map.
