Notice about a third of the way through,,, when you get shot, the blood splattered on you looks like jelly… I dunno about you guys, but I hate when games do this, just gimme the damage indicator, so I know where I'm getting shot from. This stuff is incredibly distracting and just… ugly. Here's hoping they edit that out for the final cut.

i like it when it shows the blood on your face, it makes it feel realistic, and i dont think its that distracting, just keep looking at the guy your trying to kill.

I guess my main thing against it is… well theres almost never just one guy. Theres a bunch, spread out. Sure you can see the one you're aiming at, what about the rest? And were I in a fire fight and couldn't see, I'd take cover and wipe that shit off my face real quick… and when was the last time you got injured and you're vision got blurred out by blood dripping down your eyes? Although thats what they're going for, I don't see it as “realism”. Its just an effect. EDIT: but hey if you like it, maybe I'm just being picky… hah

i wouldnt say it blurs out. i would say it just shows the blood on your face and you can still look around. anyways, you would get to cover unless your amazingly accurate so it goes away.

well when u get shot u dont exactly carry on as normal, i wish in MW2 if u got that then your health didnt regenerate. It's make it more funner to survive (but at the same time extremely annoying!)

Stealing from Halo???? Halo was not the 1st FPS to let you dual wield (maybe the 1st to specifically call it “Dual weilding”). Beyond that, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to come up with the idea to hold 2 guns at the same time anyways. Videogames stole it from movies, and movies stole it from a fantastic real life.

so… in video game world, thats like golden gun mode. one hit kill, even if its in the torso not the head. I'm sure they would wear body armor,,, so bleeding out the gut wouldn't really apply unless its a shotgun at point blank range… any ways tho, this is where video games and realism hits a wall. At what point does it get too realistic, and no longer fun? Theres no way its realistic to find health packs and be instantly healed, or that you can take cover for 10 seconds and recover from three bullet wounds… but getting shot once and bleeding out is no fun. It could work as an extra extra hard mode…

Look up heavy rain… the game..
once your character dies, he/she is dead.
And i dont see how blood on the screen is very realistic in a FPS… that means there is blood in your eyes? cant you just wipe it off? I like damage indicators the best. Health bars are cool as well, so you know exactly how much health you have left.

Parnakas – I find it pretty strange when the soldiers are wearing googles and that jello gets in thier eyes , wind shiled wipers new perk ?
Barkie – HardBoiled must be one of the greatest original action movies out there , i mean maybe its not 10 on the reality level but that Hospital scene was kickass . And yes , he molested it in Stranglehold.
