Ok so like 99.9% of the time i finish a match online the game FREEZES ON ME. Yes, I do clean the disk when this happens and i try it again but it still happens. I lose all my progress in the match and its very, very annoying. Does anyone else have this problem or a solution to it?

i had this problem when playing capture the flag and so i chose a different game type demolition and its had no problems at all maybe it might be your internet is your setup wireless or wired

I get this occasionally, but it usually goes after about 15 seconds. I have it mostly with team deathmatch, but it still happens to all game modes.

Not to scare you or anything but the last time my MW2 game froze…i turned the system off after i got the game out, went to turn it back on and BAM!!!! YLOD  So be careful…

It could also be your BBand connection. Check to make sure you have NAT 2 connectivity and not NAT 3. If you have a NAT 3 i would recommend a faster router as it would improve your MP experience. Also check to make sure the PS3 is not excessively hot as it could also be a HW issue

A BB issue shouldn't freeze up the whole system though, especially in a game like CoD, which wouldn't put too much bother on the line.
It can be played on dial-up, so even a crap bb line wouldn't be too bad.
In CoD4, you had a ping beside your name (the red-green bars). So unless you're consistently red, you wouldn't have a problem.
Chances are, CoD with it's shit coding, is causing an overheat.
