I must say, I agree with what Matthew Dive posted. The nuke does appear to be an automatic win for anyone who gets a 25 kill streak. Definitely will make a lot of new players not like to play MW2 if they continuously get PWNed by Prestige rank players and they decide to end it all.

i wouldn't use the nuke if i got that killstreak. why end your own killstreak??? i'd activate it right after i respawn from dying

yeah i've only gotten 25 a handful of times. that's why they made it 25 b/c it's a bit harder to obtain than a 7 killstreak lol. i'm ok with the nuke. it will probably be cool at times… and you never know! maybe you can pull and indy on the nuke! there has to be some reason for the nuclear warning right?

Yeah, there must be a way to beat it. I can't remember which conference it was but an IW guy said that everything in the multiplayer is counterable. So there must be a way to beat it. Laser interceptors FTW! Maybe you can send other missiles to blow it up before it slams into the earth…I don't know…only time will tell.

Yeah laser interceptors , satellites that can maybe disable the nuke , i dont know for sure , it would be useful if every map had some kind of safe room or section underground to atleast somewhat protect you instead of being one of 20 vaporized .

i would say the safe room is much more probable than laser interceptors lol. the nuke will be unstoppable most likely but there will probably be certain ways to survive the nuke. if nothing else they could always make a nuke protector perk personally i like the indiana jones idea lol. just chunk a few fridges in the game and we're good to go
