What would anyone want to play a game of quick scoping? I don't know about MW2, but in every other fps I've played it's a dick move.

It's easy kills.

If you're a sniper and qscoping, you can't be beaten at range, and up close you're unstoppable too.

At range you have a sniper rifle.

Up close you essentially have a shotgun.

It's an exploit in the game.

You can be beaten at range. Depending on the player and his accuracy that one shot missed can either be a new kill or death on that scoreboard. If we are both on the same track here almost every Modern Warfare 2 sniper is able to kill first shot WITHOUT stopping power. Where on the other snipers in the original Modern Warfare are usually subjected to hit markers unless ofcourse you have Stopping Power on. Bad Company 2 quickscoping is varied. I have pulled off a few shots myself, but since almost every sniper is a two shot kill depending where you deliver the shot, its extremely risky.

If it trulely was an exploit in the game Infinity Ward can fix it, just like how they basically ruined the Model 1887's (Which I found just about the only entertaining thing in the whole game) Quickscoping and noscoping has a large fanbase, hop in a Domination on the original and theres no more than 5 players actually using any other weapon aside from a sniper. Patching this exploit to underpower these things and ruin shots would basically create uproar.

Its hard to quickscope too, you know? It takes skill to do it so I wouldn't call it cheap kills either.

i dont think it is. once you get the hang of it, its pretty easy to keep getting kills doing it imo.

well what im saying, getting used to it is hard but when you get the hang of it then its pretty easy
