That is why I am not getting it on release. It will be one that I get preowned next summer when there is a lull in releases.

Wow didnt know its coming so soon, is this title anything like Oblivion?
I dont play RPGs as much as i would like to but OMG Oblivion had me hook, damn that games was something special Bethesda totally blew me away with that title and was such a massive jump being one of the first games i played in this gen.
So want to get another game like Oblivion and will but this on launch 100% is its simlar to Oblivion.
***EDIT***
Just looked at some vids on youtube, looks more like a FPS on the line of BioShock style with RPG, not sure if liking it to much? kinda loved Oblivion hands on action, hmmm

Well just spent an 1hr watching about 10 Videos of Fallout 3
OMG this game is going to be great, it does have a very OBlivion feel to it, the music sounds epic and real engaging, game play looks like Oblivion with huge open ended levels that are indoor and out doors, go anywhere, do anything style, with loads of ppl to talk to and do side missions for, and the Graphics look great with huge amounts of HDR lighting effects, not sure if the game runs in real time day/night? that was great on oblivion watching the sun set and rise.
Will be grabbing this 100%, i should do a search on the site/topic but aks anyway does this game have trohpies? or sould i get the 360 version with achievements?

This is just a thought but does anyone else think the developers are leaving trophies out and then patching the game a month or so later just to squeeze that little bit extra cash out of the sales etc? With trophies not being in every game people are hunting them at the moment and will buy the games that support them… so, the fans out the game will buy it when it comes out, then a month or two later when the game gets patched the trophie hunters will also buy it? It makes me wonder!

That's not the case with this specific game, they started the development on this title a loooong time before the trophy system was announced. I'm sure they just didn't have time to go back and implement it in time for release.

So who picked up Fallout3?
I picked it up on PS3, what an awesome game, i didnt think it could match oblivion but from what i have played its so cool, the pip-boy rocks and so easy use.
The graphics are soooo good.
What does everyone think?

Good news, a developer just said in a video interview that Fallout 3 definitely will be receiving trophy support. But no news on a timeframe when it might happen, so my guess is that it'll take a while.

What a game this is… i'm very very happy with it BUT if you are right about the trophies comming out then i will not be getting them as ive already put 40hrs into the game and wouldnt fancy starting it all over again.. even without trophies its still a class game!

fun game for a while but looses its charm fast. it also dosnt help too much that i cant change my ps3 settings to hide when people log in  everytime someone logs in or logs out the game freezes and since i have a piss load of friends its not even worth trying

Why don't you just disable your internet connection while playing fallout 3?…..I've completely stopped playing fallout 3 myself until they patch the freezes and put in trophy suport.
Plenty of other games to play until then…..now i hope they don't take months to bring out the patch!
