woah woah woah…. Calm the heck down guys! although i don't agree with smarto's accusations, I also believe that he is entitled to his opinion of the game.
Personally, I played it for about 60 hours or so i think, and it DID freeze a lot. maybe four times for me. I once lost 4 hours work on fallout 3 when it froze and I didn't save it. I had to use the closest autosave, which saved me about 2 hours worth of gameplay. so yes, it does feeze, and it can be very frustrating.
What I don't understand, however, is why the hell you bought the game for £45. You're clearly over exaggerating. No where in england will sell a ps3 game, even brand new for £45. you can pick up ps3 games now for the very usual price of £17.99. or if it's brand new on the first couple weeks of its release, roughly £29.99 – 39.99 (MAX).
Another thing that baffles me is why you skipped a few quests in the beginning to get a trophy you'd normally get just by playing the game. by doing that, you'd just set yourself up to story redundancies (as with most RPGs).
and bad quality? I think you've just got the wrong word there. I'm guessing you were trying to make a point with the freezing up… so I figure you meant to say consistency. Yeah the game is a little inconsistent, but since you left the story in a rather foolish attempt to get a trophy you would have gotten anyway, I'd say that's not a very accurate assumption of you.
I also found that the terrain is a bit bland… everything is indeed the same colour with a slight greenish-grey tint to it. but what do you expect? unicorns and rainbows? Well actually if you go to Eden, there ARE trees, and it's quite a nice place filled with a bit more colour.
I could keep on writing about all this… but it's 3:30AM and i can't be bothered to. lol.

lol dont want 2 start an argument but some games ARE actually £40-£50 in some shops such as GAME, GAMESTATION etc. bcoz COD4 (Collectors Edition) is still £45 & COD4 (Normal 1) is still £30 & this is them both reduced by £5 i think, & u will find some brand new games will be first priced at £40 or £45 in these shops sooo

but why do that when it's cheaper online?
play.com – cod4 = 29.99
and I've never paid for a brand new ps3 game above 39.99. and the usual now averages about £35.
my point was… how long as fallout 3 been out for now? there is no way you'd have to buy it for more than £20.

well, i think i got fallout 3 (new) 4 £40 2 month ago from game & im sure i saw it 4 £35 in game

i didnt mean any of that in a way which made the game seem not good i was very angry at the time and i had the game before trophies so i accidently found vault 112 but it's all good cos i did the last mission now and yes i think you're correct in stating that i meant consistency but all in all a good game i think my ps3 is slowly dieing on me making the game freeze more than it normally would but yeah when this games completely out of the way onto cod waw trophies yaaay

I've played fallout3 for 150hours plus, love it! Even with all it's problems… I would argue that Borderlands could be better because of the MP? Along with other reasons of course…
This game killed my first Ps3

all you need to do is look at the markers my good man that will get rid of all frustrations
the trophy called silver tongued devil is the only one i found annoying simply because you have to talk to every one to find it but i found one specific person that you can recieve infinite speech successes from video of it on my youtube youtube.com/user/poeticoso knock knock in little lamplight

One of the best games out there in my opinion. I have 100+ hours already. They should have MP though…..
