Batman Arkham Asylum 2 is due to be released August 3rd 2010.
Personally I can't wait, the first one is my 2nd favourite game of all time!

Yea, i really enjoyed the first one. Looking forward to this one.
Hopefully they make the game a little bit longer, and put some better boss fights.

What do you think to the trailer?  shows at least one boss in it, gotta be something to do with the penguin because of the iceberg lounge

I would think it is Iceman but it could be The Penguin also. Can't wait for this it's going to be good.

i loved the first one but this game is coming out a year after the first released were they were on it at the same time of the first one
|

I'd imagine half the work is done with the first game being so good… They'll just use old code for the majority of the new game (?) and most of the time will be spent on new area's/enemies/combat…
I personally thought the combat was some of the most fluid I've seen in any game but I'd like to see some more puzzle sections in the second. And i can't wait for the storyline, the first game just seemed to blend together effortlessly… It'll be interesting to see what they have in store with a bigger playground

There's loads of lesser villains they could choose from, but I suspect they won't wander too far from the better known ones. As long as Robin and Batgirl aren't in it I'll be happy.

Yeah, the riddles made the game that little bit better. But this time I want to see Batman encounter The Riddler instead of just hear him.
There are already some hints at which characters might be in the game:
The first villain caught is most likely The Penguin, who used to operate an Iceberg Lounge. This is hinted at in the image above on the sign labeled “ICEBERG”.
The second villain caught is most likely The Black Mask. The image reads “Sionis” and The Black Mask’s real name is actually Roman Sionis.
The third villain caught looks to be Two Face. The image reveals a blurry “We Want You” poster with a man with a disfigured face on it. It certainly looks a lot like Two Face.

I think that Two Face is definitely innit.

I would like to see some new cool gadgets,more riddles and interesting boss battles,because the Joker sucked badly.

I see what you mean but most of the game is probably ready anyway, and lots of other games are released annually and are to a good standard.
And BTW I can't wait for this game, I've been on Batman Arkham Asylum the first game lately because I am so excited. I really want to see some Catwoman in this one!
I just keep watching the trailer!

The one thing i hope really happens is that they improve on the boss fights.
Because the boss battles sucked in the first one!
