No game ever has, and no game ever will be worth an online monthly fee. Dont buy it. add it all up and it amounts to 4 new games in it's first year alone.

Yes, subscription is BS. Judging from the beta, the combat isn’t all slow and turnbased. You actually feel like a part of the DCUO and I’d like to see how the story develops. If you need a PS3 MMO or like DC comics, it’s worth it. This is just based on me, though, who has never played an MMO before the beta and only knows about Batman and Superman…

€130 for the year? I'm not against subscriptions in general but that seems a bit steep to me. Considering the amount of free or dirt-cheap MMOs available on PC, this would want to be something revolutionary to be asking that price.

you know what would be a good idea? they should have sold it for like 100 and then not charged a monthly fee, a lot more people would but it including myself. I would never buy it with the monthly fee, they're just ridiculous. Just think about my idea, people were willing to shell out like 300 for the rock band and guitar hero crap, so why not this.

The subscription cost really killed this game for me. I would love to get it, but its not gonna be the only game I play this year, so I don't want to invest that much money into it.
They should make an optional subscription. If you don't want to pay you don't have to. If you do pay, you get bonuses and stuff like that. Just my opinion.
