well there s a topic as to what you think will be your faves of 2009 , and i'm too lazy to look if this topic existed before … so what were your favorite games of last year ? mine :
1. Fallout 3 , i never expected such a great game. truly wicked.also my first plat.
2. Mirror's Edge , different , crazy , whatever.
3. Call of Duty 4 , great full stop.
4. Wipeout HD , im no racer fan , but this is great and Zone Mode is beautiful imo.
5. Resistance 2 , because the online coop really was lots of fun , and being able to play it with 2 ppl on the same system is a great idea , lacking in some others (like KZ 2…)
also , i'd like to mention Bioshock (because Shadeblack would kill me if i didnt , and because it is a VERY good title.) , Super Stardust HD because i'm not very good at it , but it is a GREAT game , esp. for that price , and Pixel Junk Monsters 'cause i wasn't into tower def but this is a fun and refreshing game.
you might think i've forgotten MGS 4 , but i got bored of the series. i know its a great game though. and GTA 4 was nowhere near San Andreas or Vice City full stop.

LoL don`t think anyone like GTA4 more than san andreas…..Any way my fave games
CoD4 : beats the crappy servers of CoDWaW anyday
Fallout 3: A masterpiece of a game with loads of replay value
Saints row 2: This game has everything that San Andreas had to offer except a big map but makes up for the map with it`s (fun) co-op
Little Big Planet: A completely original game and a nice new experience
Burnout Paradise: Great racer as seeing the online free roam actually works! but the dlc is a little bit pricey
and i think that`s it

2. LBP – Completely original and fresh concept, a lot of fun
3. Resistance 2 – great online and fun co-op
4. Bioshock – just an overall great game
5. Burnout Pardise – The best open-world racing game ever.
the ONLY reason i did not put CoD 4 on my list (although it would be number 4), is because it came out in 2007.
Motorstorm: Pacific Rift was also amazing.

i was wondering about that….
so there we have it , CoD 4 is replaced by Bioshock in my top 5…but at number 5 (although it s campaign is better than Res 2 , i loved the online coop on R2 so much…)

There are so many…
Fallout, MGS4, LBP, Burnout, Bioshock, Mirrors Edge, and Resistance 2. Also, I would like to mention Uncharted was a great game imo even though it came out in 2007. Truly amazing game and showed what the ps3 was capable of doing at the time.

Well mines are
1. MGS4 (best game ever!!)
2. LBP (First platinum  and a hell lot of fun)'
3. Resistance 2 (addicting online play)
4. Fallout 3 (even though i dont own it on my ps3 my friend has it and i experienced the whole story)
5. Burnout Paradise ( same reason as fallout and that i have been a burnout fan for awhile)

I know CoD4 was released in 2007 but i only bought it in February 2008 meaning to me it is a game of 08 if that makes sense

makes sense , that is why CoD 4 was in my first list , but it was out in 2007 so , i took it off. but after all , i didn't ask for fave games that were released in 2008.

I thought Mirror's Edge was good but it was WAY too frusterating at times.

Mainly cause I didnt get to play many others since Gta4 took up most of my gaming time working toward our platinums, l8scent and I.
