ahhhh…. I hate those games.  I'm better off heading north and having a jam session with my old roommates… I can play whatever I want then, instead of blue blue green red… blue blue green red… (I'm talking about playing a real instrument, thats one thing I can't get into the virtual version of)

yes.. i play a real instrument too… i have a band, jam to a lot of classic rock, and some metal. Played guitar for quite some time, i can play every band instrument other than vocals . Got a few Zep covers, some maiden, system of a down, bedouin soundclash, and a bunch of others. But now we focus on originals. We got about 10 of them.. 

but Rock Band is good for those people who dont know how to play an instrument, and they can rock out. Its A LOT different than a real instrument, but it is fun.

What instrument do you play?

The only thing I play right now is guitar,,, I used to play piano a while back, but don't have room for one in my apartment, and haven't been motivated to go out and buy a keyboard.  I guess I shouldn't say I hate rock band or guitar hero, I just have never gotten into them,,, if other people think they're fun I certainly have no problem with that…

Freak – that'd be awesome if you really play those… love the trumpet, thats hilarious.

wii sports is a great game with 3 friends, but a bit boring by yourself

As for starcraft, I remember playing that over a LAN in high school once.  We were completing a 24hour fasting, and after getting board of playing hockey and soccer, I wondered around the school.  Low and behold, I came across a herd of nerds in the computer lab playing this game.  I watched for a little while and then muscled a porky white kid outta the way so I could play.  His scrawny friend said, and i quote “you'll never impregnate my fortress Thickbrow!” I smiled to myself and said “Bring it poindexter”.  It was at this time that a strategy called Zergling RUSH was born!  Being a Lan party, I had a friend look at his screen and tell me which corner of the map(BIG GAME HUNTERS) he was on so I wouldn't have to risk losing an overloard.  I then put all my drones gathering minerals, and pooled all my resources and built a spawning pool.  I then saved up the coin and larvae and when the spawn pool formed I made 6 zerglings; 2 from each egg.  When they spawned I send them to his base.  The noob was going for a refinery LOLZORS. I smashed through his SCV's like Rosie O'Donnell goes through birthday cake!  It was over in a matter of seconds!.  Poindexter cried out at his computer and I chuckled in delight.  I had just beat a nerd at their own game.

gotta ask, whats LOLZORS? I know lol…

I always thought one of the greatest things about SC was the map making abilities, it gave so much freedom in that game… I remember creating an RPG style game where you played as one guy who leveled up from kills and gained different powers (changed char class) or just got more powerful according to your choices.  So many great things arose from that, like the ever more popular tower defense games.  I'm sure a lot of people don't realize that we have starcraft to thank for games like Pixel Junk Monsters, Savage Moon, and Bloons 1 and 2.  Speaking of which, while not four player, Pixel Junk Monsters is a great co-op game to play, especially with ameteur gamers.

They should bring a World of Warcraft experience to the PS3 soon.  I don't care if it is simplified to make it fun for controller users… hell i might even buy a keyboard and mouse if they decided to do that.
