Probably will be uncharted, i agree that MW2 will also be a big one, it probsbly will get goty because of how popular it is. Ratchet and clank is always overlooked for these things but it seems to be adding much more to the series than it has in the past!

To be honest i really don't care which game is GOTY, that being said though there is so many great games coming out this year whether their sequels or new contenders they'll all be in my collection and although the sequels have to better chance i'd like to see a new game get it as most will be overlooked by the masses because they've already got a fav franchise and made up their minds.

i think uncharted 2 will get. i want assassin’s creed 2 to get it.
of course: MW2, brutal legend, arkham asylum, infamous, and bioshock 2! imo!

No Assassin's Creed II will not be GOTY. It will be either Uncharted 2 because of its graphics and gameplay and online, or CoD:MW2 because of every single human owning a gaming console will buy it. I am not saying any one is bad, i will probably buy both and I am not saying that Assassin's Creed II will be bad for the first part was my favorite game. We will just wait and see! What did you think would have been the 2008 GOTY?

There more then just those 2 and also some of the overlooked franchise's Red Dead Redemption for example(if it is released this year).

In my mind there are only 4 games that can win this award.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Are they calling it Call of Duty or not now I can't keep up.)
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Assassin's Creed 2
Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time.

COD6:MW2 by a long shot imo, but i hope a different game gets it like FIFA 10, they hardly ever take more notice at sports games which are my fav.

FIFA 10 sounds absolutely brill this year with all the new stuff they've updated and included. FIFA beats PES anyways and i think it deserves a look at.
@redbren, no, that wouldnt work because what would they call it? and anyways, they update it with lots of good extras and as you know more realistic football. and anyways, keep patching it would be ALOT of the time so no point really.
