Although IMO Prototype was more fun to play, Infamous is the game that seems to have “won” the right to a second go… I didn't really like the graphics from Infamous for some reason, but with a decent amount of money thrown at it (another benefit from being “better”) this should turn out pretty impressive…
I don't think it would be a sequel as that wouldn't really make sense i don't think. Not with Cole as the main Char. I mean – Kessler came from his present time to his past, Coles' present, to try and prevent something that happens in Coles' future… And they are the same person…What happens to Cole – Kessler training him, is the beginning of what would have been if the time-line had not been interrupted – The marriage and the meeting of “the beast”. Perhaps not as fast, but it would have happened.
With the clever use of story the game effectively becomes it's own “prequel”. I think you'll play as “the beast” and the same karma-esc plot-line will be there, introduce elemental style attacks… And (written in white txt)
** You'll end up fighting Cole (as a good or bad char. based on your karma) as a boss possibly a final boss? – Depending on how you play, “good or bad” with the new beast char., would give openings to both endings from the first game. It would have a slight grey area but the stories would blend into each other almost seamlessly, and Cole could “power up” as a possible side-plot to the main story of the next game - Cole as final boss!? **
My thoughts exactly…
That dude in the trailer cannot be Cole. I don't know if there is an ofiicial announcement about the character in the trailer being Cole, but if there is, please show me…

The character is Cole. New voice actor but it is definitely him. The game begins in Empire City, where Cole is living. Soon the Beast appears,(the civilization destroying monster predicted by Kessler in the first game) appears and basically kicks the crap out of him. This leads Cole to New Marais. New Marais is the place where the First Sons constructed the Ray Sphere, which is the device that gave Cole his powers. This could actually be a prequel to the first inFamous.

There you go.I like this game,but the main character sucks.He is 90% like Nathan Drake and only 10% like the original Cole.New voice actor,new look…It all sucks.

It looks okay. Voice actor sucks ass. Cole doesnt look as bad-ass either. I'll still get it. But WHY Infamous 2 when theres a perfectly good SLY 4 that can be made.

I also didn't really like the graphics of the first one. They were too…cartoony? I can't put my finger in it, but they weren't right for the picture I assume the devs were trying to paint.
Another was the facial animations. They were the worst I have seen in a PS3 game. I mean, really, they were fcuk ugly.

HAHA. I doubt it, but if either of my brothers get it, I may borrow it when they are done, but its not the type of game I buy. All my shorter plats were either borrowed or rented games. I only buy games I know I'm gonna sink at least 40 hours into. I wanna get as close to $1 an hour outta them as I can…

I went on to Gamestop.com it's just a screw up it's supost to say 2011
