I don't know, i enjoyed my time with Killzone 2.. i liked the single player, though the story-line could have been a lot better, and also liked the online. Yes, there were some rocket launcher noobs, but i barely ever got into a game with those. In my personal experience with Killzone 2, i loved it. Thats just me though.

I thought the single player was great, I loved it. So much action (espicially in the last few levels). It was very challenging. I barely got into a match with the rocket launcher noobs. If you guys did then just search matches that don't allow the assault class, don't be whining bitches. The game was just an awesome FPS and Kz3 will be much better of course.

halo? That game where you can press the jump button, and never return to the ground? The game that has lame guns, uninspired level design, boring graphics, and bland online? The game with a fan base that can not seem to justify why they enjoy Halo so much? Better than Killzone 2? Probably not.. but CoD is probably better.

so you just said, a xbox 360 game. Filled with 9 year old kids, screaming…Is better than Killzone 2?

I almost agree with him (xxTatooxx). Halo is definitely very arcady, and I can't take it seriously, and I never played it online. But, halo had a fun campaign,, some alien weapons that actually seemed alien, and wasn't terrible looking when it was originally released. By current standards, yea its totally played out and doesn't look good anymore, but I still had way more fun playing those campaigns than KZ2. Besides KZ2's horrid controls, I just couldn't understand why the humanoid aliens we're fighting speak english, have weapons nearly identical to Earth's, and why the hell we were fighting them in the first place. The only good thing was the incredible graphics, but no matter how good they are, it just isn't fun.

I like KILLZONE 2 and Halo 3
I hope in Killzone 3 they dont change there controls to please all the haters and i want to play on a planet more like earth

I never played the first but the second was quite good, so a third seems reasonable, the thing I liked most about KZ2's multiplayer was that I never met a douche-bag while I was on there

hlo has always had amazing gameplay and really decent graphics. i own all 3 of them. my OPINION of killzone2 is that its way too loose for MY liking and the ai isnt up to my standards. ikd i just really dint care for it although i def gaveit a chance. and when i say that those two are better than kz2 i mean that to ME there gamelpay and options are more appealing. and im pretty sure a large percent of ppl would strongly agree with me

im confused have you just decided that you sounded too biased?? oh well i dont care
and this goes out to everyone on this topic, everyone has their own opinions about it, some people love it, some people hate it i personally love it and cant wait for killzone 3.
and the other thing, how the hell did Halo and Call of Duty get involved in this, they are all completeley different games
halo is an ott shooter, thats its purpose, some people like it some poeple dont
call of duty is a realistic shooter, that tries to not be realastic (when you press l1 you aoutamatically aim etc)
killzone is a realistic shooter set on another planet, so that they can bend the boundries more

i was just stating that I (myself) would rather play cod or halo rather than kz2. its just my opinion. i didnt realize that ideal was going to break down and analyze my opinion. didnt mean to offend mate

cant wait for killzone 3! KZ2 was extrememly refreshing, the graphics were great, the audio and sound effects were amazing (best ive heard in a fps) and the online made a nice change from the mp40 riddled crap called CoD:WaW, admittedly the rocket launcher was annoying but you could turn them off in the settings, i also loved the sixasis usage on the sniper rifles

im sorry i was just bored and wanted something to do, but you did say in one of your first posts that 'killzone is garbadge' but hey im not oing back into it again, its christmas  (well very nearly)

KZ2 didn't really grasp my attention but i am tempted to pick it back up so i can play the online cos when i had it i still had my crappy internet but i now got a better connection so i might be online soonish as its only £12 in CEX

Anyone complaining about controls – go to the options and change them to Alternate 2 i think.. and bam. You got yourselves your beloved generic FPS controls. Thats what i used!
Antony – you can't create a class, they give you the classes such as engineer, medic, etc. Certain characters can only have access to some guns, but they each can have different abilities, such as running faster, ability to set up turrets, healing, etc. When you get to a higher level, you can start mixing and matching them up..

If you do the certian medals on the certian classes then you get to use their second ability (Example: Engineer can only plant turrents at first but then he can fix up destroyed things like MGs)
and i think for some (if not, all) of the classes you can change their second ability and add another classes's second ability.
