Which is better out of the two? The ratings in OPM were 9 for Midnight and 7 for NFS. Would you guys agree with that?
I may be in the market for a new game this month, and was wondering about one of these.

MCLA is so much better. NFS feels like MW but not in a good way. MCLA has a more opeb world e,g, u dont have to stay within barriers during races. Though MCLAs handling is different when u change the control scheme and get used to it, it is really good.

It would be the one I go for I think. NFS looks really good from the trailers, but I just cannot forgive a game that cordons off a route for races.
Midnight Club it is!!

Every review i have seen about NFS has only been rated at like 4/10 AND something that really pisses me off is the fact that if you go onto the PSN Store and look for NFS downloadable content there is about 20 items and since the game has only been out two weeks i think thats a joke!! all of what they are trying to make you pay for should of been in the game in the first place, I don't mind paying for stuff that is classed as EXTRA content like bioshocks for instance but EA want people to pay money for a set of car shocks??? WTF hope developers don't start doing this coz a game could end up costing you over £70 before long!! nob heads… rant over

Phillyboy,
A very valid rant mate. If they are putting so much content in the store at extra cost, then the game disc should not be full price, or they should have released the game via PSN aswell.

I may be wrong I have yet to play NFS but I read that you can unlock most to the DLC in game, they just have where you can buy in advance to aid your self. That still stinks cuz no one sucks that bad anyway

I was reading in the store, and I got the impression that even when you have bought the extras, you still have to unlock them in the game!

nfs obv it is much better it may have no trophies but the gameplay of it is much better the midnight club tust me played them both and nfs is much better
the other good thing is that nfs has a wabsite which you can get your own trophies/achievements
you can get leaderboards but most people stick to the normal game

Nah mate nooooo way, i'd say if you're young as in 12 to 18 then NFS is for you, if you're older then go with MC:LA….
UNLESS that website you're going on about spits out gold bits at you through your screen that is… then it mite maybe be wrth a slight look at.
Oh and just so you know, i'm a big fan of the NFS games and it kills me to say they're crap but the last few games they have made i just think they have lost there way man, i remember NFS underground 2… Now that is what you call a good NFS game!

well, this is kind of a ps3 trophy site, so most of people are trophy hunting
so the obvious answer is MC:LA
unless you dont collect trophies, i would say try both before you make a buy

Midnight Club all the way. I borrowed NFS, played it once, and absolutely hated it. The graphics we're OK, but the story and gameplay just killed the game completely.
MCLA on the other hand is sooo much better.

i agree with you that MCLA is repetitive, but what driving game isnt…? they are all repetitive no matter what game you look at lol graphics wise, MCLA is better, it is more fun, i think its cheaper and has trophies so pick MCLA… i know there is a new NFS out soon so hopefully that will make up for the poor excuse for a game undercover, it always felt like it was skipping when you drive past tall buildings at speed and just felt nothing like the old NFS titles…
MCLA – 8/10
NFS – 5/10
IMO!

midnight club is a lot better imo. i bought nfs:u for xmas put it in the ps3 found out that it had no trophies, no free roam online, a BAFTA for worst story ever (probably has aswell), and very poor graphics. Your basically driving at the so called 200mph but the screen doesn`t blur or make you believ it. I borrowed MC:LA for a week and think its a much better game but the online servers were very bad my m8 invited me but the invite didnt come through till bout 40 mins later ( its made by rockstar and i have the same problem on gta4) but its a lot more fun. Still has a bad story (how can a racing game have a story?) but is just more fun and you can cusomze your cars a lot more and with all this dlc i keep seeing its much better than NFSU. But in conclusion i recommend (if you havent got it already) getting burnout paradise with all this dlc criterion keep delaying and delaying then releasing whats not to love about it?

To be fair, I didn’t like either of them, but then I am not into racing game but I always try them becasue I like GT 5 and Burnout. However out of the 2 I prefered Midnight Club for 2 reason,
1 It has Trophies
2 It has a better sound track. I was playing it and quite randomly an As I Lay Dying song came on, I was like.. WTF this isn’t mainstream, and then sang along to it. When it finnished I turned the game off and gave it back to blockbuster lol.
