All PS3 Trophies

So – just a few things.

First, trophies are publicly listed on the Sony site, and display the time earned in PST time.  This is the time recorded as when you SYNCED your trophies, and doesn't go by your system clock.  Therefore, it would make sense to use this as the official record for when the trophy was earned. (check it, go to your trophy list and notice how many were “earned” at the exact same time.  Many of them it is impossible for that to actually be the case, but they were all synced at the same time)

Second, since the trophies go by PST time, it would make sense to say you have until midnight PST time, since we are all from different regions of the world.  Seems like a good way to standardize things and not discriminate towards any particular region. 

Third, I think a date should be set before we all say we're in.  At this point I could say I'm in, and then the date you set is one for which I'm unavailable.  If you set the date, I can say right off the bat whether or not I'm available to try this.

And some questions to clarify – are there any games that are off limits?  Do we all have to be working towards the plat in the same game?  I ask because I've been one trophy away from the platinum in Burnout Paradise for over a year now (anyone got a webcam I can borrow?), and I'd like to use that for my first one if I'm in.  I'm sure I can find a webcam if I really try.

Yea so, i'm in. Just please start this in January… when i will have some new games. 

And make the day like January 30th or 31st or something near the end of the month.

I was under the impression that they did with firmware 3.15.  I don't think its a required update, so you might want to check for it if you haven't already.  I haven't had an issue since I downloaded it.  I think it fixed a few other things as well, but I forget what exactly. 

Anyway, I'm in, assuming that I'm free on whatever day is chosen.  Let me know if Burnout is ok, if thats too cheap or lame, I have quite a few others, and I'm sure I'll have new ones after the holiday.  At the moment I'll submit I could plat Dead Space, MW2, AC2, Borderlands, Trine, Batman AA, and I think a few others, if I was really determined.

My trophy syncing errors have now gone away . The trophy Gods have cleansed me!

Although im not participating in this whole thing , i wouldnt mind helping some people out , if thats aloud . Just giving some tips and what now . For example : If BigWoop is having trouble on some Batman challenges i could give him some general tips and what not .

TO CLARIFY:
DATE: not finalized but will be either 23rd or 30th of January
REQUIREMENTS: Must be a somewhat familiar face around APT.
A platinum trophy is the only thing you are required to earn on each day of competition. PSN games don’t count unless they have a platinum (ie. COD CLASSIC)
!!!!!!VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!
CHEATERS: As soon as a competitor earns a platinum I (d4h8a15r16m23a42) must be messaged and your trophies must be synched so I can view it at that moment. No messages will be accepted after the competition date.
TIME ZONES: We all live in very different places. But I have to thank God and my iPhone for the world clock so I can see when time is up anywhere. Those worried about not having enough time, every country in the world gets a full 24 hour day (at least they did the last time i checked) so you get your whole 24 hour period to earn a platinum.

Hope this clarifies things and i apologize for the sarcasm but i like sarcasm.

Cmon just join. If you can’t get on so what it’s not like you lose anything. And if don’t sign up and get on a platinum streak you don’t wanna be the guy who knows he missed his chance to win.

so wait, we're all going by our own personal time zones – not one standard zone?  technically if you went by a standard zone, we'd all still get 24 hours.  I think it'd be simpler that way – for you.
