I have just seen the original prince of persia trilogy that was out for the PS2 has been remastered in hd and will be released on blu-ray for the PS3 this November.

Is this only in 3D?
On another note…I'm loving the fact that Sony is remastering these classic games. Trophy support, upscaled graphics, and the ability to play the old games again.  I'm loving it

No i just means you have the option to play it in 3d if you have a compatible tv, yeah pretty good, cheap, 3 games all with trophy support.

Although i'm not a great PoP fan i'd agree it's FREEKING awesome that Sony are remastering old games…

According to the article POP Trilogy HD is only being released in Europe next month!! Seems a bit odd, maybe the rest of you will get it in December.

i had not heard about this so when i saw the trophy list and was shocked… apparently they are download only in the US and will be released one at a time.

What's up with PoP trilogy only having 54 trophies when the GOW collection had 71… That was only 2 games 
Laziness perhaps?? Trying to boost sales of a game(s) that some younger gamers might not have heard of?? Laziness is my thinking…
Personally i like a game with a decent amount of bronze… IMO trophies, as well as any game, should be 'well paced'… The bronze weapon trophies of demons Souls, unless you 'boosted', were retarded, the golds of Terminator Salvation are retarded at the other end of the spectrum
Dead space is perhaps an example of 'well paced' trophy list?? I'm going way off topic… Should i create a new thread called – 'Creating a well paced trophy set' or something?? Any one interested..

1st games are all story related and cant be missed
2nd game
- get the water sword, silver <– you get this when you get all life upgrades
- get the secret ending, gold <— you get this when you get the water sword
- play the secret ending, gold yup theirs 2 gold trophies for practically the same thing
-get the normal ending, gold
-land on the island, bronze
- kill the golem, silver
-kill the grifin, silver
