when i first heard this game was coming out i was all “Ugh.. a crappy movie based game of one of my favorite series”
then i checked out the details, Konami, good… decent graphics, good… doesnt seem to be turning into a shoddy 3rd person shooter, excellent…
all seemed well until i saw the gameplay footage.. the puzzles appear to be re-iterations of previous things we've seen in the movies, or just slightly different.. some examples i saw in the footage were the exact same head mounted reverse beartrap thing that amanda's character in saw I was strapped into, and a toilet full of syringes with a key in it somewhere (a la SAW II's pit o' syringes)… my issues with these are twofold.. 1) jigsaw makes these contraptions by hand, and therefore it is highly unlikely that he would use the same trap setup twice, and jesus, more needles.. come on.. get original thoughts in the process and make the games traps crazier than the movies..
i'll play it anyways im sure, but the above paragraph is making me wonder if i should bother

from the footage and stuff i've seen you play a person in a large building surrounded by Jigsaw's puzzles/traps and as you go there appeared to be others that you have to save, or watch die, or something.. it supposedly takes place after the first film, it's 3rd person, and thats about all i know

I'm a big fan of the Jigzaw movies. I have every single one and have watched them all at the cinema. I even have the theme as my text alert… This game should be interesting, however I'm not sure weather it will be any good. Like someone has already mentioned, John uses different traps of each of his “paicents” now it looks like who ever made this game has put all the traps into one game. Don't get me wrong, but I don't think that the game will not be nearly as good as the movies.
