I'm so torn on this decission that I'm looking for input from others.
As you've probably heard by now, if you pre-order Dragon Age II before January 11th, you'll be upgraded to the Bioware Signature Edition. I really want to pre-order in time but I can't help but think that a year from now, DAII may also receive an Ultimate Edition like the first game did.
With all the games coming out in 2011, do you think there's a chance for DAII to receive a GotY or Ultimate Edition down the road? Is it worth pre-ordering now or should wait until 2012?

Pre-order it now and cancel the order if something better comes along. I do it all the time. As long as you don't pay straight away with Paypal you'll be fine.

you seem to be a whore for bonus goodies and shit as i am too tridon so idk if youve ever done this but it goes with what I77 said…
alot of stuff when you preorder it you get a bonus gift from your local gamestore. sometimes they are cool (packs of cards, shirts, mini figurines ect.) sometimes they suck (bonus costume or free theme or whatever) but regardless you get them for 5 bucks. so preorder a game for 5 bucks, get your schwag, come back a week later, change your 5 dollar preorder to another game, get more schwag, rinse and repeat. i bounced the same 5 bucks around for about a year once lol

LOL… that's hilarious, man. I've never tried that before but then again, all I have here in the one E.B. that absolutely blows for having it's freebies in on time (or getting them at all).

I get every special, signature, limited edition of all the game series that im really into. The Sig edition of GT5 is stunning. The metal box is just beautiful, very heavy and with an excellent paint job. GOW 3 deluxe edition had an awesome box too.
Some days i go into my collection room just to look at it all….*sigh*
Special editions that you pre order will never be made again, but GOTY and full collection editions are made all the time. If your a die hard collector than pre order DA 2, i have  But if you can wait 6-12 months for another edition than do so. Me, no way i could wait lol.
Also if you get an expensive sig edition of a well sought after game, the resell value is usually high. I'd never sell my stuff though, NEVER!
One day i will buy a bunch of glass shelves to display it all….hehe like my original FF collection with guidebooks…..i think i'm going to go look at them now…
