After the news that 3D Realms, the creators behind “Duke Nukem”, closed their doors last week, today comes the news that Factor 5, the developers behind the “Star War: Rogue Squadron” series and “Lair”, are following suit. Kinda sad considering how “Lair” had so much potential and probably would've been amazing if not for the movement gimmick of the Sixaxis controller. I personally think Sony should've bought them out and had another exclusive developer rather than having them close down but I suppose it is what it is. I guess we'll never get to see whether or not a “Lair 2″ would've improved. Here's the story:

There's also another article I saw from IGN, that Sony had an annual loss of more than 1 billion. This economy crisis is really not helping.
