I just saw that Harry Potter film. A bit unrealistic if you ask me. I mean, a ginger kid with two friends?When I got divorced, my wife said she would fight for custody of the kids. Took her out with one punch.

I think platinums matter the most becuase it means you actually beat the game entirely. The only platinum i have is for Demon's Souls

Thats highly dependent on the game. For example, I could attempt to claim I'm better than you, because I have more platinums. Then when you look and I have Hannah Montana, Terminator Salvation, and other games that are a joke to earn a platinum on, it turns the tables. By the way, that was completely hypothetical, I've never played those games… And I'll definitely give you a One Up on the Demon's Souls plat, thats a serious undertaking right there.

I agree, just becuase you have some platinums doesnt mean they came from games that are actually hard. I see what you are getting at.

Platinums are more just competitive for me. Like i'll look through my friends list and see who has what trophies and on what games and how many plats they have. i only have one plat so far and that's on Assassin's Creed 2. pretty easy plat to get, all in all. Ive almost got plat on Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and the only trophy i still need in the crushing difficulty one but it annoys me too much, so, idk when ill get that plat xD

For me its Platinums because I like to see and know that I have completed the game entirely. I also like to compare them to my friends and hold contest

To me, my trophies are all about having more than people on my friends list, lol… I don't whore it up with simple, easy games, just to score a few extra Platinum's… But i do play the easy games i enjoy, like R&C, although playing that and not getting the Plat. would be a bit embarrassing, being that I'm a grown man… And i do not actively try and get as much of the trophies in a game on the first play-through, some games i leave for month's at a time between trophy gathering.
Some of my friend's have 20+ extra games than me, but because there's sitting at 'bout 12% each and have 700+ bronze trophies I'm still a higher level than them And when I've more than my friends i turn into a causal gamer… Playing in drips and drabs…
It's only when i meet a new person with a higher level, or someone who has more trophies in a game that we both happen to own that i start “playing again” – I need motivation because i'm to lazy to Plat. allot of games just for the sake of it.
I always compare, check what games we both have and what's diff. because it gives a clearer picture rather than just a level…

If i was to say anything it would be total platinum's. i never used to try n get plat on games til I joined this site and added a few people and realised they were all better than me so i shamefully played terminator salvation to rack up another platinum so i could catch up on them cos i am very competitive and don't like losing.

Plats are where its at.
I've seen ppl with over 1000 trophies, but only 3 or 4 plats so…
With levels, I think once you pass lvl 11 or 12, you barely move. I gain like 10-15% for a plat'd game now, so the levels dont move much anymore.
A plat (for me anyways) is the most important. It means 100% completion & gives you “closure” for the game, haha
