NOlan North i just found out is the voice actor for nathan drake in uncharted…and for a number of many other gaming characters… i'm surprised lol but its obvious now lol x

This guy is very well known and has been on some of the best games out there . Also the voice actor that did Snake David Hayter also wrote the Xmen movies !

He also does the “EA Sports……………….its in the game” voiceover at the start of those games

what i like about Naughty Dog's voice acting, is that the voice actors are doing the motion capture at the same time as the voice acting. Its awesome, because it gives even more life to the characters.
Nolan is an awesome voice actor, but i didnt think he was that good in Prince Of Persia. I mean, he wasnt bad, but its Prince of Persia… not Prince of San Francisco…

I liked it , after all he was more like a thief than an actual prince , if they gave him a terrorsist like voice it would sound horrible .

ahhh … persian does not equal terrorist. exploding idiot equals terrorist. And when I think about it I can't believe I didn't realize that the prince and nate drake were the same voice. And yeah, new prince is kinda deuche baggy, but hes not actually a prince in this story… so for the story, it made sense, sorta.

Exactly , if they made his voice with an accent from the middle easy it would sound completely stupid . Meanhwhile , the prince is a thief , so his voice is like all laid back kinda lazy .

his accent, or lack thereof, does not excuse the crappy dialogue in the game, which IMO was the main issue.. it wasnt really how he said it, it was what was said that made it bad

yea, I could see that. The PoP trilogy was my favorite on the PS2, I especially loved the second one, the change in attitude to match his situation, it was all great. So I was really excited for the next generation PoP, and was really dissapointed. It was still a good game and fun, but nowhere near what I expected or hoped for. Heres hoping that the sequel has the character maturing in a fashion that will provide better dialogue and story.
