I just really don't have the motivation to do anything singleplayer anymore. The last thing I did alone was the Walking Dead and I thoroughly enjoyed that, but I think one thing that really contributed to that was there was absolutely no trophies to worry about. Recently, (I don't know what the fcuk I was thinking on this one but) I booted up the Amazing Spiderman videogame. I played about an hour into it and then I couldn't bring myself to play it since. Not because it's a bad game (shockingly) but because when I skimmed the trophy list afterwords, I realised there was 700 collectables. Either way, I'm having fun playing with some of you from this site. The Resistance 2 is going much better when it's not just 2 people taking on the hundreds of Chimera they pack into each level. Lara Croft would've been unbearably slow alone and scotty decided to “help” me by buying Kane and Lynch 2 dirt cheap, and that game is just a total fcuking turd. We were going to play one of the Multiplayer modes, Cops n Robbers, when we were immediately matched up with each other. Then we sat there for a good 20+ minutes when we made the realisation that we were the only two people playing that mode in the world.
Think I'll post my decisions and motives in the TWD thread. I'd really like to see Doc's “plan”…

Please do… For such a 'simple game' there sems to be quite a measure of depth to the story telling and decision making?

I'm in the same mood as gr8jr at the moment. I seem to be putting all my time into co-op. I'm playing Dead Island with my brother (we'll be looking for help with a few of the full party trophies), Ghost Recon, Resistance 2, Space Marine and i also have the ridiculously expensive MW3 DLC on the horizon.

sounds good im down to boost anytime, scotty is too i believe, and i have another person willing to help as well.
In other news, im about to buy the Walking Dead, people just wont STFU about it so i figure ill see what the fuss is about.
Also, if any APTers are down to coop the lara croft game they gave away for free, let me know, as i didnt know it was coop lmao.

so now i would like to thank everyone for not shuttung up about the walking dead. this is fcuking stellar, and i wasnt aware that telltale was remotely close of producing anything this badass.
im not checking the damn walking dead thread until i get done with episode 2 tonight after work

You need it to access NG+ as such… Without giving away anything there are multiple endings throughout the actual 'endings' as such…
So without it I can't actually play two of the endings including the one that grants you NG+… All the endings bar one, the 'true ending', results in what you might call a 'perpetual circle of events' thus only leading you to a retry screen… If you break the cycle you can start over in NG+…
But from what I read if you use it before the final boss or 'lose' it, then you're stuck with the endings that don't let you 'finish' the game..
Minimum 3 playthrough, yas!!

I didn't actually do that much during my first 'first play', so I might just do everything in my next first playthrough and beast through the second instead… I thought doing most of the trophies on the second playthrough would have been easier seeing as I'd have been Lvl 50

After storming through the Dog Sh!t of Kane & Lynch 2, I now have Duke Nukem Forever to finish. Manage to get Mafia II done on hard and I should be able to squeeze out the plat in the next 20 minutes or so. Finally finished WarHammer 40K and I must say, the ending was pretty BADASS and I couldn't help myself but smile while beatin' baddies bloody and in-half. But along with that, I do have to say, the part leading up to the ending was utter bullsh!t due to the amount of enemies and lack of weapon damage happening. So at this point, I'm going to finish up the rest of the trophies for Duke Nukem Forever within the next week and Mafia II by Tonight. Hopefully Jenkem and I get together to play some Lara Croft as I actually want to thoroughly enjoy this game as much as I can.

Well… It seems that the 'Godsbane Blade' is just a tool… Not stored under special or weapons  Even though it's the most important 'tool' in the game Hmmm…
Anyway, still gonna need a third playthrough because I had a quest 'cancelled' early on, when I fought the Hydra  Not quite as bad as first thought though

After a soul sapping nine days straight in work I'm finally free for a few days. My much missed and sorely neglected PS3 will hopefully see a lot of me over the next while.
I've still the 40,000 kills to grind through in Space Marine and the Resistance 2 co-op is nearing an end (Bar a bit of level grinding ). Unfortunately that means the Resistance 2 competetive mode will have to soon be pillaged for 10,000 kills.

It's been a frustrating day. Tried grinding more kills in SM earlier but both times, several hundred kills in, the game froze. I was doing it on chapter 14:2 as you have an infinite supply of enemies and decent weaponry.
After getting pissed with that I moved on to Magic: TG 2013 and was doing fine until I got stonewalled by an Encounter. It's doable but I was too bored to struggle it out.
The only real success I've had today has been on Ghost Recon. I started into the multiplayer and played a couple of matches. I still haven't a clue what's going on most of the time but I managed to top the room in my second match. Also got my first friend challenge finished.

Working on Space Marine and Mortal Kombat Vita. Space Marine's decent but the trophy list is a total grind. It probably tripled the amount of time I would've spent on it without the trophy list. The “Horde mode” DLC is balls… I'm on Bonus Challenge 138/150 in MKV. A friend recently pushed me to beating 130, which is hard as shit. Hitting Kahn 60 times in 60 seconds in a small space as Kung Lao. Probably the hardest thing in Mortal Kombat I've done thus far.
