Just to let everyone know, the two games I'm leaning towards right now are Dead Rising 2 and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. They both look sweet, but then I'm also unsure whether I'll like them because I've never played the first Dead Rising or any of the Castlevania games in years. Dead Rising 2 seems like it will be a lot of fun, but it also seems like it may get boring after a while. With Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, knowing that Hideo Kojima overlooked the project really makes me excited, but then I've also played through all three God of War games and Dante's Inferno this year, so a change in pace may be nice.

So, between those two games, which would you choose?

Yeah I have to agree with w4r. This new Castlevania doesn't look to special.

Out of those two.. I guess I would go with Dead Rising 2.. Although, it does look like it will get boring after a while. Who knows though.. they might change it up or something i don't know.

I would only recommend Castlevania if you are a fan of the series. I don't think it will be too kind to new comers Surprised

Yeah, knowing Castlevania's history of making people crazy with anger, I'm thinking I may want to rent it first. I suppose I'm also leaning more towards Dead Rising 2. Hopefully it's not too boring. I'll have to pre-order it so I can get the sweet-ass ninja costume. Actually… how is Capcom with selling pre-order incentives? I know that sometimes, when EB gives a piece of DLC away as an incentive, the publisher of the game will release it via PSN a few weeks later for $3 or whatever. Capcom do that much? If so, maybe I'll just use my Blockbuster credit towards this.

I'm actually not to sure if Capcom does that, I don't remember them doing anything like that before.

And if I may be so bold to recommend something.. you should check out Mafia 2. I love the game. I'm almost halfway, and the game just keeps getting better. The demo for the game was great, but doesn not do the actual game justice. It's really awesome. And if you like a good story, with memorable characters, then this is the game is a definite play. I'm really enjoying it so far.
