i just contacted sony and they informed me that gamesharing is not an issue, just dont give ppl ur id if u have ur credit card info on ur acount.. basically dont be stupid bout it.. hope i could help

yea the whole cursing thing seems retarded, considering we get censored anyway.  Plus, the chat rooms require you to be invited, and if you don't like whats being said you leave, so I really don't even understand the censorship.  It seems really gay to me though that they would close your account and not at least tell you why or give you a warning. 

I'll check tonight when your last sign in was, and post it here tomorrow.

10 days ago!!! Man, time is really slow when I don't play online. So if I'm not un-banned untill the 7th of January 2010,  I'm screwed. Still no e-mail from Sony. My friend can't log in to his account either, he gets the same error code, I have his account on my PS3 and he has my account on his PS3. The error code is not in any of their websites.

Edit: I just read that this could happen from glitching on HOME. I did this, so did my friend that got banned. Oh snap!

Edit 2: I just read that the PS3 ban can last 2 months. Oh Snap!!!

Anyways, thank you Sony for dropping the ban hammer on “Certain People”  You CAN'T get banned for gamesharing, so you were clearly doing something much worse that you won't admit here. Everyone rejoice, the system works!

gangadeen – I don't think your very brigth for talking like that on PS3 forum where everyone ones a PS3 and uses it, if you stopped and now you have a ''better'' life dosen't mean that everyone will. If anyone on this forum wants to stop using PS3, speak now… (I hear no one)

wow, banned for glitching in Home?  That seems pretty retarded.  Last I checked Home was still in Beta form, right?  Ohhh,,, doesn't that mean that it may or may not have tons of glitches, and that any users are simply testing it to find said glitches, so that Sony can fix them?  Seems to me that Sony should be fixing their errors, rather than banning you for doing their job by finding it for them.  If thats what did it, I'm sorry to hear that, and it sounds like total bullshit to me.

I just phoned my friend (who also has this problem) and he said that he logged into his account on his friends PS3. Now I got 1 more Q. Can Sony ban: My IP Adress, My PS3, Both?
