Yeah Ps3 has the power to do that. But this bu a strange way reminds of Fallout 3 where you can make gun like railway rifle for example from things that you can find in every house

I just can't stand the noise of the 360, had one for a few month but had to sell it… The Ps3 ain't bulletproof but it's a hell of a lot better than the 360…

Yeah i read that a few months back. This is not necessarily a good thing for Sony. Yes it demonstrates the power of the PS3 CPU but it also demonstrates how much it is costing them. If my memory serves me well a single unit of components that the PS3 are using would have cost the USAF approx $6000 whereas the PS3 costs only $300, and there are 2,000 of these in a cluster. So instead of costing the USAF $12 million it is only costing them $600,000 !!! Sony are only making money on software and losing money on Hardware so this is a big financial loss for the corporation but also demonstrating the power of the console when put to the right use.

the standard ps3 may cost a lot but i do you think it may be possible sony stripped the consoles? i.e geting rid of the blu ray drives for a start, im not too sure tohugh, just something i think sony would have done to save some money

indeed they are , but do you think the U.S airforce need those ps3's to play video games? i dont think so, it makes sense to not have a blu ray drive if they dont really need it

It said in the article that there gonna be playing 2000 games of GOW3 at the same time so they'd have to have there BD drives left in…

Never noticed that bit… Slightly confusing, i though they were playing all those GOW's because -
