I just got that update, I didint say what you get, Im downloading it now.

There must be more to life than sitting wondering if there is more to life.
Current status: Waiting for my Slim.

So seems like no new features just some bug fixes.

Thanks for letting me know about that. I started the update last night before I went to bed and then went on this morning and was all like, “what the hell was changed?!” LOL. I wonder what kind of bugs were 'attacked'.

I updated, and for the second update in a row, my ps3 doesn't connect to the internet!!
The error code is 80710102
I have unplugged the router and plugged it back in, and redone my connection on the ps3, but still no joy. I am about to google it, but if anyone can help, please do!!

I've gotten that error a million times. Generally it is your router (even tho you reset) or your ISP, and not actually the PS3. My solution that usually works is to unplug the router, turn off the ps3 (hard switch in the back), and unplug the ethernet wire from the ps3. then IN THIS EXACT ORDER plug the ethernet cable in, plug the power back into the router, wait for all the little lights to go on a stablize, and once all that happens, hit the hard switch on the PS3. If that doesn't work, I'm at a loss. contact your ISP? if it is the update, you'll hear from me by tomorrow cause I'm leaving work now ish and gonna update as soon as I get home.

I will try turning off the ps3 at the back. The last update was the same, but I got the internet back by just unplugging my wireless router.
It is really annoying that this keeps happening with updates, especially as my internet is fine.

if it helps i had this problem aswell it just randomly went for m try re doing your internet connection settings a couple times that what i did also if that dont work trying using a wired onnection if you can

Turning off the PS3 at the back and the router worked in the end. It is stupid that it knocks out your net connection on your ps3, even though you know there is nothing wrong with your internet.
