i think war_geared has a point, (cba put all the number) it has only seemed to start happening since 3.01, wich i only doenloaded cos uncharted DF kept crashing grrrrr, its being really annoying though now, we should get in touch with sony, all of us, send a message, highlighting the propblem.

I can Gaurentee you that Sony will fix this sooner or later, so why don`t you guys just calm dowm for the moment. And who really care if you can or cannot SYNC your trophies, there not mainly there to show off to everyone that you are better than them at every game (so you say), its about giving you a little bit extra in the game that you can do. So just relax for the moment being and just SYNC them up when ever Sony fixes it.

I’ve had the same issue but it started when I picked up Uncharted 2, long before MW2 or 3.01. I think Sony are just having server issues with all the extra traffic. Both games have popular MP and a lot of people picked them up on release. I’ve had trouble accessing the PS store and I can’t get vidzone to work at all so it’s not just the syncing that’s an issue. One thing I’ve noticed though is that although I get the error code and can’t view my trophies, if my brother checks my profile on his friends list all my trophies are there so the info is being uploaded.

If I have learned anything from my time working in the service industry it’s that for quite a few people, the basic theories behind the use of a toilet are absolute mysteries…

Heres something strange..
I have another PSN account, which i was still able to sync trophies on, so i went on it. I have not been able to sync any of my trophies on my Parnakas profile since i got MW2, so that includes AC2 trophies as well.
I viewed my parnakas profile, from my other account, and i could see all my MW2 and AC2 trophies.
So i popped in MW2 on my other account, and guess what: I couldn't sync trophies anymore. Maybe its a conflict between Sony and IW.. who knows. But i think other viewers can still see your trophies that you have achieved even though you can't sync.

not being picky here but MW2 has normally around 300,000 online (when im on) & U2 had 8,000. but idk if it has anything to with MW2 as loads of people have said its happened to them before they got it or when they havent even got it. it happened to me with EA's FIFA 10.

Mine works fine now, hadn't been on the PS3 all week so maybe you just need to stop trying to sync for a while

Hey I haven’t been online because I been playing MW2 non-stop. This happened to me when MW2 came out. Supposedly a patch fix it. It works for me now, but my cousin still didn’t want to sync. So this is what we did we play Resistance 2(Any retail game should do it.) and earn a trophy. Then we went to the XMB sync his trophies it said error. Then we went to his friendlist we compare trophies with one of his friends. It took a minute or two, but it sync with the servers. That how we fix his. Try it.

but anyway, IW has been having tons of trouble with trophies, since MW2s release, they have fixed them now, but i remember lots of issues, having to do with Spec Ops in particular.
Insania – Interesting.. did you not go on PS3 at all? or just not sign in and try to sync? Sounds like it could work.

My trophies don't sync either but I don't really mind as long as I can view my own trophies. Still, would like to see it fixed, before 360 fanboys start telling us that it doesn't work.

and i was comparing to say if it did have anything to do with how manys online those games it wouldnt have much to do with U2 as theres hardly any. MW2 had near 500,000 online at one point im sure, was the day before the servers went down i think. its never been below 250,000 when ive been on.
i'd rather be not able to sync my trophies than have YLOD…. AGAIN!

no,no,no. you saw modern warfare2 and uncharted2 in the same sentence and then because you are huge mw2 bias, you thoght that the almighty modern warfare2 didnt deserve to be in the same sentence or otherwise compared to uncharted2 and you gloated that mw2 is more popular.
