back on topic: I just got my trophies to sync!! everyone, just keep trying at random times, and it will work. I unplugged my Router, then plugged it back in, went online, synced and it worked. Took some time though, so be patient.

I was gone for the weekend. During that time I bought new R&C. I came back home put the game in and get few trophys. Now I can't sync. It worked fine bofore I left on firday since I sync right before I left home.
Looks like it can be connected to the new firmaware patch. IF U dowlad it adn get a new game the trophys won;t sync. Strange thing is that it stops at random %. Once it went to 99% and I was so happy and then errror GRRRRR

nah, i didnt mean it like that & i know it was bought for SP, just stating.
yeah games should be like that… especially if they have not only an amazing SP but an epic MP…

btw my trophies are working for mw2 again!! i cut the ps3 on yesteerday put in mw2 and the trophies pinged lol. then i continued to beat veteran completely. wow its so much easier than cod5!!!

OK. Now I'm cofused. I came back to my home after work and tried to sync the trophys. IT work just fine after one try. I got few more trophys later in R&C and again I was not abel to synch. That makes me mad. Sony dont lie me when I'm mad

Hi. I'm new here. I too am having the same error where I can't sync my trophies. I have a 60 gig and one of the newer 120 gig slims. I can sync fine on my 60 gig, which I rented and played MW2 on, but some of my trophy information is missing. The 120 gig system I did not play MW2 on, instead, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. That system can absolutely not sync. My trophies show up, but do not sync. Very perplexing and hope Sony can help us out with a patch, soon!

Well, for me, now I can officially say it's not Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 that started all of my problems.  It was Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. I installed the game data on the PS3 that wasn't having syncing issues, and the sync error occurred almost immediately after it was installed. I then dumped the game data from the game data utility and now the trophy sync works. So, if you have Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 on your PS3, and you're one of the ones having problems with trophy syncs, try dumping the game data.
