Hey guys
I just wanted to see if i'm alone on this or not, but how many PS3s have you had due to your's breaking on you? And how did your's brake? I also want to find out if anyone has had anymore than me, cause i am on my:
8TH PS3!!! 
Before you say it, i dont drop them out of my window, smash them with a sledge hammer or anything like that. I just use them…

1. Got it in June 2008 and I use it almost all day every day. My friend's on his 2nd PS3 though because his first one suddenly stopped being able to read Blu-ray discs.

I've had a few pass through my hands. The fatboys seem to be the main problem. My launch model corrupted, the replacement got the YLOD and the third one is sitting downstairs waiting to be replaced after also getting the YLOD. The slims haven't given me any trouble though. One of mine is still going since launch.

Currently on my third. First one got the YLOD. Second one had fried components and an irreplaceable HDD and corrupted file system. Second one died a week ago.
|
405 scares me. I left my ducky in there.

3, like everyone else they stopped reading discs of any nature ,the first ps3 i bought was a fatboy 40gb for 799 ,DON”T SMOKE near a ps3 because i'm 100% sure thats why they don't read anymore ,cause the resin in the smoke sticks to the lazer ,also the second ps3 was a fat 80 and the same think happen again ,the eject button soon stuffed up and i put fallout 3 in the sony ,know icon ,so i could'nt eject the disc using trangle ,and the dam touch buttons are crap ,now i have a 160 slim and so far alls well but i don't smoke up anywere near the ps3 ,i don't think it was the updates ,because i have read online so many people say it was like 3,60 3.2 and even 2.55 so they all can't be right i mean wrong![]( "Confused") http://www.allps3trophies.com/wp-content/forum-smileys/', ' ', '1');” src=”../../wp-content/forum-smileys/Confused.png” alt=”Confused” />

Luckily just 1… I went through 3 xbox360s prior to my conversion!

I have two PS3's and haven't had a problem with either. One is a few months old, the other is from when they were brand new!

I've had the same problem, I just had my first ps3 a couple of weeks and it wouldnt read any disc's anymore… so now i'm on my second one, had it almost 2 years now, use it almost all day everyday x)
