anyone besides me really miss this when starting a game? when i first updated and loaded a game i thought there was something wrong cause i got a black screen and nothing… then the game started..
the least they could have done was leave it and change the logo.. its a small detail, but i miss it

a lot of people need to be reminded what console their playing? although i don’t seriously see any point in getting rid of it in the 1st place

I actually hated the splash thing.. it was annoying.. Like i need to be reminded that im playing a PS3.

seems a bit pointless to me. there's enough splash screens on the games anyway. usually about 3 or 4 for each game.

its not the splash screen i miss, its the sound when you turn your ps3 on, they changed it for no reason to something crappy :'(
