Yes I am. It looks to epic to miss out on! I remember seeing it at E3 last year and I was jizzing because it looked so good. Anyone know when this and “Natal” or whatever it's called will be released?

Really… I've seen the pretty dodgy tech. demo of this and it looked a little on the meh side of things… It will really depend on the game support… It could just be another fail like those little keyboards for your cont. – I bought one thinking it would be pretty cool, only to find it had microscopic tiny buttons too close together, i was just as quick using the cont., although i can type using the cont. no probs in the first place.
I personally think this is a clever move by Sony to try and steal some of the Wii customer base… Red Steel 2 on Ps3 or on the Wii… What would you rather own? A big selling point of the Wii was the stupid moving about, and i think SONY wanna piece of that pie… A few games that could only be played on the Wii will now have the poss. of coming to Ps3.
How many games really utilise the sixaxis function? And that was a big deal when it was announced… Just another gimmick IMO… I'll wait and see…

Perhaps you're right about it being gimmicky.
But I used to be a hardcore Nintendo guy, I'm still in love with my DS. I got rid of my Wii though, and I guess this is just what I need to fill that Wii shaped hole in my heart.
It's more for the fun side of gaming, just like the Wii, and it'll bring loads of new customers in.

Its really hard to say without any solid announcement of what games will support it. Theres really no point in buying an accessory if theres no games for it that I want. It'd be like me buying a guitar controller – I hate guitar queero.

i won't buy this until i see what most of you guys think of it cos I am not sold on the idea seems to be some blatant copying of nintendo to win over some casual gamers. What happened to Playstation being original?

What i saw and liked was that the motions being performed on the screen had NO delay between the user and the game.
As long as their is ZERO latency, the Arc will be awesome.
Another reason why i found Natal kinda lame, was that there was about a 1 second latency thing, which is very very annoying.
To be honest, i have never been a fan of motion controlling.. i love the controller.. and thats how i hope it stays!

I think I will get this but after price drop as all PS3 stuff are pretty expensive out here  . Anyway my kid and wife both love WII but since I have to buy new stuff for PS3 we can't afford it  .
Hope to see some more shooters though.

So anyone wathced the conference? I did and I think this is kinda of cool – this whole PlaystationMove thing. I will get it after relase.
Anyway tomorrow we have GDC awards live as well so don't miss it.

I hope the whole motion controller fad dies off sooner rather than later. The only reason MS and Sony are making these is to cash in on the social gaming market that the Wii has a stranglehold on.
I myself cannot stand that crap….handheld controller all the way. It's the best option for hardcore gamers…only until they can use my brain impulses as a way to control things.
I don't bust my chops at work for 12 hours to come home to move my body and exercise to play a game, i play because it's relaxing and at the push of the button i give a command not at the movement of my whole darn body.
I can't stand this casual gamer trife.
