The plus side for me is that it means I won't ever have to buy a Wii for my wife and daughter. You never know it may result in some decent games, so we'll see.
I just hope it works better in ow light than the Eyepet does!!
Hate the name though, surely they could have come up with something better than Move???

I guess it's good for the non hardcore gamers. Can probably steal some of Wii's audience.
But for hardcore gamers? Nah, who would play a game like SOCOM with this controller? You would get your ass kicked pretty bad by people with the DS3. However if there's “Move Servers/Games” only I guess it would work.

Looks like the MOH team share your concerns.

@admin – apparently someone wants to play socom with it, since they announced that SOCOM 4 will be compatible… I just dont see this with a shooter unless its duck hunt, but hey, whatever.
If anyone saw the list of 3rd party publishers that are going to support it, I know Q Games is on there, which is pretty cool. They've had some of the best innovative PSN games yet, and could see them doing something cool with the motion controls. Hell, even integrating it with the current PJM Monsters and Shooter would be cool. Atlus and Frontgames are on there too,,, a good RPG with motion controls? It sorta worked for Zelda: Twilight Princess (although a normal controller would have been fine for that)

The controller looks pretty much identical to the Wii's, heres some info on it if anyone is really interested:

Highlights the features, some games that will be supporting it, and some nice pics.

I’ll buy it, looks as if it will add a different level of game play. My only concern is that developers who are wasting there money on crappy ass WII games are going to look@the ps3 as a way the squeeze alittle more money in there pockets, and put out crappy ass games. The first gen. games are going 2B gimmicky in my eyes, but after that it will get alot better
