The whole thing is a waste of money (In my opinion). The automatic download is useless in my opinion, all the free games they are offering look crap anyway, you pay for the discounts when you subscribe, and if you are like me and have no more room on my hard drive for more games, then it's completely useless.
Way to go Sony for suggesting something good (extra features) and end up dissapointing us…

1. in the states the bonus for buying a year of psn plus is 3 months free. 12+3=15 months.
2. buy features i dont mean games. the only additional console feature is automatic downloads for only select games. (however cross chat is in development and hulu plus is coming)
3. i own the game infamous, so a free one hour trial is usless to me.
4. a fat princess avatar.. cmon
5. one good theme
6. ah heres where the best feature lays. the discounts. prob the best perk to psn plus so far.

in the states the free game trial is infamous. i already own the game though, so the trial is useless to me. cool but useless. we should be able to pick from a list of different things

I also think it's poor they left out subscription to Firstplay (Quore).
Let's see what happens though… I wonder how quickly the service will actually “evolve”? Or will it become like Home… Anyone remember SONY speaking about a “trophy room” for Home? Now correct me if i'm wrong but there still ain't no trophy room, right? Yeah, it's “finished” but the things people really want SONY always seem to hold back on…

Playstation Home is finished? Lame…
I had high hopes for that but it seems to have evolved into a 3D advertisement board. I don't think any of the areas offer more than a few minutes worth of browsing and I've never launched a game from there.

If I have learned anything from my time working in the service industry it’s that for quite a few people, the basic theories behind the use of a toilet are absolute mysteries…

Just wondering what the people who have this are thinking about it now?
I never bothered with this, but I've noticed there are a few people on my list who did… Still think it's value for money? Any problems with the service? You know, just questions about the service in general…
I'm still not sold on this but perhaps it's because i never check what's available… Would you recommend it to someone who doesn't have it (aka me).

I haven't had any problems with the service. It's down when the store is down but I won't hold that against it. A lot of people are complaining about the selection of games they're putting on it but if you haven't snapped up every PS1 and PSN title then there's bound to be something you don't have.
I've already downloaded over €100 worth of stuff. It mightn't be titles that I was dying to get but by the end of my subscription I'll have well got my money's worth. LBP, Wipeout HD, Sam and Max all free(ish).
I'd rather spend €50 on Plus than the Move. Fact.
