I have just been on the US PSN Store and you can now get a 1 or 2 year extended warranty on your PS3, it is $44.99 for the 1 year, $59.99 for 2 years or if you have Playstation Plus $44.99 for 2 years. This i think is a good idea but will this come to the UK as we usually get shafted with everything else?

Haven't Sony got Continuous Play? That's pretty much the same.

No they stopped continuous play here in the UK anyway because people whos PS3 had broken down were only taking it out for a month, getting a new PS3 and cancelling the service. They deemed this as taking advantage of the service and shut it down.
