I guess I can take you off my 'blocked' list now 
As for the system.. you should have bought it from Futureshop or Bestbuy. They sell 3 year over the counter guarantees with the systems. It breaks, and all you have to do is bring it in and exchange it for a new one.
Maybe you can share a system with someone that you 'gameshare' with.
ps. make sure your system has lots of room to breath. Keep it in an open area and buy one of those cooling fans for it if your place is hot.
pps. Try not to play too much during the summer. You should be outside enjoying the weather anyways. That will extend the life of your new ps3.

As for gamesharing. I don't belive it's fair to the people who make the games, especially good ones.
But i'm not here to hijack the thread.
Please read the previous post of mine for ways to not have your PS3 break on you.
