Ahh this thread is a perfect example of why I rarely visit this site anymore, someone is just trying to share a few tips with people then he gets flamed by people, some of which are the first to have a cry and a big f**king whinge when it happens to them. Don't worry tattoo myself and 1773D33MABL3 can see that what your trying to do ain't so bad.

Woah Mitch, chill mate.
This stuff is technically not allowed by Sony's say. It voids the warranty on all models of PS3 so it's kinda silly. Unless of course you are like TAT and have no warranty.
I773 said that Microsoft clamped down on mods, and Sony will follow suit soon. And we were trying to stop Admin from getting into trouble for condoning this stuff on his site.
If you don't like the site, don't just come on here and make it worse by attacking people for trying to help out a little bit.
We all came to a group decision to leave the thread to TAT and if he wants to continue it he may. This thread was for people interested in mods, and if there are people that want to learn about them then they can talk about it here or contact him.
Don't make the place worse than it is, the site's just picking up again with new friendly users.

Dude read the insulting comments you made to tattoo then do one simple thing, practice what you preach. Also as much as some of you might like to think your mods or whatever you aren't there is one Admin and it is up to him to deal with people he deems unruly so why not leave the moderating to him. Flame back if any of you feel the need as I can justify the reasoning behind my comments quite easily.

I don't think I actually insulted TATTOO at all, I was the first to post here and just said not to repost the same thread. And, then I was just having some fun with my second post, and my third I was just leaving.
I never insulted the kid, I was just trying to keep the forum a bit tidier. I never said, “I AM A MODERATOOOOOOR! OBEY ME!” Like I said, I'm just trying to share a bit of forum sense. If a thread gets no real interest, and is then locked, it's really stupid to start up a new one. You said leave the moderating to Admin. He did a good job of that, and made it clear a thread on this topic was, for some reason unwanted on the forum. So, if that thread was repeated and he wasn't around surely you'd feel the need to let the author know it's not wanted?

the first thread got locked out because ofmy language towards kingofgames in a reply that i posted. (they deleted my post and then closed the thread) i got verbally attacked by kingofgames after my first posting on the thread. he was on my friendslist months ago and was soo annoying to me that i decided to delete him.
so because it got locked out soo soon i decided to repost because i felt that i didnt get to share enough info from just one post..

you say that this kind of thing is technically not allowed by sony? well the wat that i feel is thati paid $600 for my ps3 when it first came out, as that was their price. so ill do whatever i want to the console. factory warranty is expired and theres no way of extending it at all, and even so idk why you would even bring that up.
and how would admin get into trouble for not locking out the thread regarding a case mod and emulation?
let me explain it as simply as i can for you ninja.. SONY INCLUDED A FEATURE WITH ITS CONSOLE, ITS CALLED INSTALL OTHER OS. THATS WHAT I DID, AND IVE GOTTEN EMULATORS TO RUN ON MY PS3 BECAUSE OF IT, AND IVE DONE A CASE MOD AND LEDS…. what part of that is bad? or illegal? or would be wrong to condone? you dont make any sense

First thread was locked because certain individuals couldn't use a proper languague to discuss with others.
Same goes with this thread. Content of it has never been an issue only the language from some of the members which apparently need to grow up and learn to behave properly towards others.
