i dont know what to do. it seems like ive wasted days of gameplay, since i beat multiple games and achieved alot of trophies without my ps3 connected to the internet. for instance, ive beaten assassins creed, but at the time i didnt have internet at my house, therefore i couldnt log in to my ps3 account to get credit for the trophies. there has to be some way that i can take the saved information and get the credit for all the trophies ive gotten for all these games, cant i?

The trophies save to your account name. Not a specific system.
So, if you earned a trophy on your ACCOUNT, then you have that trophy. Even if you were signed out, doesnt matter, as long as you were on that specific account. You do have to sign in to sync them though.
Have you tried to sync them while online?

Well unfortunately, i dont think there is any way to get them back.. You needed to be on your account in order to get the trophy. If the trophy icon popped up, then you got it and it is saved. However, if nothing popped up, then you didnt get anything..

Hey man, I’m not exactly sure what you’re saying. When you say that you were logged in as a username do you mean you just hadn’t signed up for PSN or that you have a PSN account but just hadn’t signed into it on that console?
Did trophy icons pop up on-screen when you unlocked them?

if you had an account at the time you achieved the trophies i think youre good. if you set up your account AFTER you achieved the trophies i dont think they count. that happened to me last christmas when i got world at war and had to redo the campaign for the trophies.

Im pretty sure that what he is saying, is that he would play games BEFORE he signed up for PSN – Playing games without a PSN account.
He wants to know if all the trophies he WOULD have gotten if he was signed up for PSN still count.
For example – Let's say he has beaten Assassins Creed 2, without having a PSN account.. he wants to know if he will get all the trophies for beating each level now that he HAS a PSN account.

I can’t see why they wouldn’t. The trophies should still be on his console in his trophy collection. When he signed up they should have synched with the server like normal.

It should work even before he sign up. If he was playing in a different account than the one he sign up then he lost them. But if he earn them and didn’t have a PSN account at first they still should work.

this is what really happened, to clarify the questions for you guys. when you turn on your ps3, you make a profile. for instance, i have mine and my brothers on there. also, you have the name you log onto the psn network with. i had this name when i first bought my ps3 (it was one of the first gen ones, before they even had trophies), and i didnt even use it for years since i couldnt play online. recently, about 2 months ago i turned it on and got my psn name going, and i started getting trophies, but i had beat a whole bunch of games on my system and hadnt gotten any trophies for them.
so for instance, i had 50 cent, blood in the sand (lmao yeah i know…) beaten all the way through with everything unlocked, and when i played through the campaign for a little while i didnt get any trophies. so in conclusion, the only way to get those trophies is to beat the game over again after you delete your save file.

There aren't any trophies patched to the US/UK versions of Blood in the Sand (only Japan). That'll be why you didn't unlock any.

emdeepee is correct this time! If you played a game that was not patched for trophies, then you obviously would not have achieved any trophies!

Oh its a game that didn’t have trophies before until a patch. Not shit your not gonna get the trophies. I thought you earn them. BTW why does Japan have trophies for a american game first?

Does it really. I thought they spend all their money on the wii. So I wouldn’t think they would demand trophies on the PS3.

This game was developed during 2008 and released in US/UK February 2009. For some reason it was one of only a few games exempt from the “all games released from 1st January 2009 have to have trophies” rule. Don't know why, maybe too late in the development process.
It was then released in Japan in July 2009 with trophies. I'm guessing Swordfish Studios were told it would need trophies attached since they would have had more time to sort this issue.

Actually.. Japan has a very high percentage of PS3 owners, and Wii owners…. its the americans who go nuts over the Wii..
