I have thought that if I install Linux on my PS3 and install a recording program on Linux. And somehow exit Linux with the program still running and record my gameplay. And then transport the recorded gameplay video on a USB and on my PC. Then delete the part where I am exiting Linux and send to Youtube or anything else.
The only reason I am doing this is beacuse I cant find a Dazzle or any other stuff which with I can record my PS3 gameplay in Croatia. And I dont feel like waiting to go to Toronto again(about next year).
If anyone else has an idea about recording my gameplay without buying anything, I would be happy to hear.

I'm not sure if that will work. try soing some research on linux operated ps3s before you do this. make sure first.

Have you got a computer with a TV card? If I want to record my gameplay, I plug my PS3 into my PC and record it using the media center that came with the card. The idea you suggested would not work, because what the admin said.

I use a lead that came with my PC. One end goes into the PC and the other end is a SCART cable. I plug the PS3's SCART cable into it.

I have an old fashion way… just record the channel your Ps3 is on, on a Video… then put it onto computer…
