If you go on airmp3.net on your PS3 you can download music from there directly on to your PS3!

well that won't happen. if they DID do a P2P program, which they won't, they'd screw themselves over, and it definitely wouldn't be limewire. it'd be something like a torrent client… which they still won't do.

im just saying… a program like limewire or a torrent client will quickly stir up anti-piracy lawsuits.
since sony can monitor just about anyone on the psn, a torrent client to download stuff is probably a bad idea for both sony and ourselves.

plus you wouldn't want to risk your ps3 getting a virus…cause that would suck
Sony has already given us a chance to watch pirated movies thru DivX and played pirated PSone and PS2 games thru Backward Compatibility…i don't think they would let us do any pirated stuff anymore in the PS3..that's just plain suicide for Sony if they are going to do that..

if they did anything they hook it up to iTunes , or another legal , paying service that would be virus-free. wouldnt use it so dont care really…

well that would mean someone would have to make a virus specifically for the ps3. viruses are not multi-platform. they are specifically made for one platform, as different operating systems work in different ways.
this is why the mac has fewer viruses than windows, and why linux has fewer viruses than the mac. the reason why windows has the most is because there are more people using windows, and those who do, tend to not realise what they're doing on it most of the time.
making a virus for the ps3 would be quite a task. the person who'd do it would have to know the ins and outs of the ps3's operating system and it's infrastructure. Not to mention good knowlege in programming.

Dude, I read in a videogame magazine once that videogame companies WILL NOT take/listen to your requests. If you come up with an idea about a game including snowflakes in saran wrap, and that company happens to be making a game about the same thing, then you might feel the need to sue that company after they hear your idea and that game comes out.
You might as well just tell us your idea as you made this topic as everyone is curious, and there is no way Sony will listen to it anyway, as per legal policy.

it's true. the only way to get them to listen to you is to build the initial game yourself and present them with it, so that they might buy the game and the story.
