i really dont get how that makes any difference, people on ps3 will do that as well (even though network doesnt cost) and yeah i would.

Well I guess it might be different in Newcastle, but all my friends here in Ireland are noobs but they play on PSN just because it's there but my friends (again, noobs) on XBOX don't pay for online because they don't play much.

You don't really need to say your opinion, who else's is it going to be?? Anyway just a quick question, how many of you if any actually own a XBOX 360?

Don't f**king tell me what to do child, you don't want to answer my questions because I truthfully labeled you a fanboy that'sfine but there are other members of this site who I am friends with so they can answer my question and have a discussion I don't care whether you do.

I like you enthusiasm lol but tdsoil2 needs to realise that just because he cannot answer my questions because I'm making a valid point it does not mean he can pretty much tell me not to post on this topic.

I was a 360 gamer before I picked up my PS3. I stuck with the PS3 because Warhawk was the first game that I played online and it just sucked me in. It was my first taste of competitive gaming and I've yet to play another online title as good as it. 

But apart from that, games have no influence over my opinion as to which is the better console. I prefer the PS3 because of the range of options and compatibility I have with it. I like being able to swap videos and music between it and my PSPs. When I put music on the Xbox it re-formatted it into something that wouldn't read on any MP3 players I had and I couldn't even save it onto a memory stick. On top of that when I start to run out of room on my HDD I can easily change it to a much larger one. 

The PS3 also has, by far, the most user-friendly menu. After a couple of flicks around the XMB I knew where everything was but after months on the Xbox  I still found myself having to search for stuff. And while it might only be a small thing; I love being able to put any picture I want as my background and get dozens of themes without paying for them. Microsoft charging to change a simple background is a joke and then covering up a chunk of it with adverts is just taking the piss all together. 

Then that just makes some of you no better then the XBOX 360 fanboys plain and simple.

I did at one point. My cousin gave it to me. I really thought the main menu was quite disorganized, and messy.. a bit complicated tbh. Why is everyone making a big deal about this.. who cares? Obviously everyone on this site (well.. most) are going to say PS3 is better, so why are people sticking up for the 360? We can be fanboys here, as long as we don't start going to 360 sites to say that PS3 ROCKS, then im perfectly ok with all this.. 

Yeah the dashboard is utter shit and so is the controller.

Yah but right now we are not talking about companies we talk about consoles

I am full aware of that bud, the point I made is that they will remain exclusives to Microsoft. You may be able to play them on PC but you'll never be able to on PS3.

im really not trying to cause confrontation here guys. i just figured it'd be cool to see some feedback from other people. sorry
