IMO, anyone who spends all their time in front of a screen are sad. And alot of sites like facebook, myspace etc are great for keeping in touch with family and friends. I use facebook daily, and I don't consider my life sad at all.

the original point of facebook was to create a profile and help track down old friends and have a little fun… now it's a full blown social networking site for just about anything.

it's mainly crap, but i still have a facebook account because it helps me see what my friends are up to.  actually it's great for people like me who isn't able to get out that much.  I can see what they're up to by logging on to site, all the while not looking to suspicious about trying to find out what everyone is doing. haha!

Ps3 freak.. thats just disturbing… and weird.. what is the point of that. 

I think Facebook is getting out of hand…. 

What i think PS3 Freak is saying is that people who spend all their time on Facebook, myspace, etc… have no life because they are glued to the screen, never going anywhere, not getting out, not having fun with friends. 

Yes, you can say the same thing about ps3. its exactly the same thing. If you all you do ALL day EVERYDAY is go on ps3, then it is the exact same thing. Even if your real-life friends are on it, if you are glued to your screen, you cant really socialize with them, go out, have fun. Although you can have virtual fun on PS3, i still think being glued to ANY screen 24/7 is stupid. 

What ever people choose to do with their lives is their own business.  I think being critical of how others spend their time is 'sad'

oh ya.. and you think facebook is getting out of hand.  Have you heard of Twitter?  people are posting quick updates on that 24/7.  If I wanted I could get up to the SECOND fight results for every UFC event.

Personally i like to 'disconnect'.  The only reason I have a cell phone is for work. (work bought it for me .  If i'm going out for lunch/dinner or to the beach i leave all that stuff at home.

ps.  I do think its pretty rediculous when I see two people having lunch together and they are both texting away or talking away on their cell phones.  I see this quite often now.

i agree.. my iPod Touch is 1000000 times better than any cell phone i have had.
