I go on both stores every Thursday to see the new releases and they're always massively different. It seems like the Europeon store ALWAYS receives new PS1 and PSP games while the NA store receives more DLC currently existing games, wallpapers, themes and so on. Europe also seems to receive more PSN games. I just don't understand why the stores have to be so different. It really ticks me off that here in Canada, I can't download any movies or TV shows and I still can't buy a PSN $20 card or $50 at any retailer. I'd much rather buy one of those over using my credit card but oh well, I'm “just” a Canadian.

it is the Japanese who get everything, the EU doesn’t get movies or that much DLC. What sucks though is that the americans get games a hell of a lot quicker than us. I saw someone who lives in Texus playing Rock Band 2 in november… It isn’t out over here yet!

you know you can just make another user and account with another country right? that's what i did to get the american store which keeps the demo of long time ago but the European they just gone….

Completely ridiculous… i can understand making a differnt jap store but NA and europe speak the same language FFS!

well UK technically isn’t europe. we only joined th EU for th profit.
technically we and america are the same, therefore we should get the same things.
i have a U.S account but cant access th PSN video store wats up with tht? is it even out yet?

the reason why the uk takes so long to get games is because of the language barriers.
the UK IS part of the European Union, therfore the EU psn store has to have the languages for most of europe on all games. the language is decided by the default language set on the ps3.
The UK is not part of the US… why anyone would think this is beyond me.
The US get games before the EU mainly because it's closer to japan and it has one language. However, it's and unfortunate and ironic outcome that that language is English.
We are also overlooking something quite important here as well… funding. although it all goes to sony, I'm sure that there is some form of law stating that money earned in different countries will be taxed accordingly by their individual laws. The Laws in the UK and EU are very different to the laws in the US.

My main anger issue is that the Canadian store (I call it a Canadian store because the US has movies and TV to download; we don't) never receives any PS1 classics. Europe receives a PS1 game almost every week. It's stupid. Do you know how much I'd love to turn on my PS3 and just go nuts on games like Resident Evil 2, FFVII or Spider-Man (Neversoft)? It'd be amazing. I'd also love to see Konami do a port of the Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes that only appeared on the Gamecube (even though I'm probably dreaming with that one).
And parnakas, I'm totally with you… Canada FTW!

yes UK is part of the EU but weer not europeans, i mean do we speak any other language thn english (except for welsh)? UK is only part of the EU Bcause of the cash issues. TECHNICALLY or UNOFICIALLY we are the same as america NOT we are america, we ARE the SAME AS america, our own state.
so back on topic, shade is mainly right but another thing you have to consider is that there are more americans or more asians than british ppl so sony gets a lot more profit off th U.S and asia

anyway killer im not being sick or nothing but even though asia is more populated i would say Europe is more likely to get more profit for sony because it is alot richer than asia…
