I just saw this over at Amazon's site. I know the image says “package art not final” but if this does happen to be the final art, what do you think?

Personally, I kinda dig it. It's different than all the other covers. The two PS2 games and the PSP game all feature images of Kratos from behind starring at something off in the distance. This is a change of pace. Honestly, since it was announced from Sony that there will be a Collector's Edition of GoWIII, I think this would make a cool cover image for the CE. Maybe they could go with a more traditional image for the regular version.

I don't know if it will be the cover art, but I really hope that it is. That cover is sweet. I definitely am diggin it lol

I'm guessing there won't be much info on cover art and trophies til after the Collection edition is released.

In the CE if GOW3 do you get GOW 1and2. I want to get the GOW CE but if you get all three games in one pack I would wait for that.
About the cover, I don't really like it, the other cover were much diffrent, its not bad it could be better.

No, you won't be receiving the Collection in the Collector's Edition of GoWIII. It's probably going to end up coming with a comic book (since it's now a comic mini-series from DC's imprint, Wildstorm) and a Blu-ray making of disc. You're safe to buy the Collection.

There was a couple really good ones on there. Quite a bit were just rehashes of the first two games' covers. No originality.

yea some of them look good and really professional while others look cheesy and alot like the first two games.

If they just put a black background, with the words: “GOD OF WAR III” in epic font, that would be awesome..
btw, this cover art looks like the MGS4 art, where you just see half of his face..
