For anyone who doesn't know yet: Get the GOW3 Demo code by pre-ordering the game from any normal game store (GameStop, Amazon… etc). Also, at Amazon.com you can get $4 of the retail price, its just on sale… anyway, found this thread and was really surprised no one mentioned that yet.

the easiest way to get the code is to buy the gow collection. 2 games for 40 bucks and a code included! i have the demo but haven't got to play it yet

True. However, you can pre-order, get your code, and cancel the pre-order. Zero expense for the demo. I pre-ordered simply because I know I will get this when it releases anyway. Plus, I still own the original 2, no reason to buy them again.

except for the fact that you get trophies with both games and they run at 720p!!!

ah yes…. and here is where the word “rental” comes to mind. 2 easy plats too, they don't require you to beat the hardest modes to earn them, which I have done out of the sheer love of the game. Thats where the solid control scheme and responsiveness really shines.

indeed you are correct. i don't think there is a hard mode to compete with god of war 1 and 2. and those modes are what proves those games are more than just hack and slash. takes some serious skill to beat em! but i wouldn't say the 2 plats are that easy. you have to beat the challenge of the gods and challenge of the titans. those took me quite a while to beat lol. if people were to rent this game the odds are they'd end up buying it anyways because it's freaking awesome but they'd be missing out if they didn't

not really sure how i got though.

i took that survey and didn't get crap! well i still haven't tried the demo yet either. i mean i know the game will be good and playing the demo will just make it harder to have to wait all that time for its release lol. so i'll try it at some point but no rush here

I love the demo, in fact I'm playing it right now! I never played any GOW and now I regret it. I'm buying the GOW CE and GOW 3. I just might change my avatar…

i love when this happens.. Games that can only be made for PS3, are usually awesome, because developers can just put so much into a game.
And its not like GoW would have been on 360 anyway..
