Anyone else hear about this? I was just reading the write-up for Heavy Rain on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heavy_Rain) and under 'SPECIAL EDITION', they listed the set as coming to Europe and Australia at launch, and coming to the U.S. on June 6th, 2010. Am I missing something here, or is Wikipedia just plain ol' wrong?

Um.. i remember hearing that the Special Edition was Limited to EU. SO maybe it is coming to the U.S later?
I would do some further research, Wiki is really not that reliable.

Yeah, that was the first that I had read about it. However, I will be upset if the SE does come here after I buy the regular one.

I'd say it'll end up there eventually but I get it on launch lol, bout time EU and Aussies got something first.

Yeah, I'm happy for you guys for getting the SE, but I'm from Canada and we're ALWAYS shafted. For example, our PS Store still doesn't have digital comics or movies/television even though we're the U.S.'s neighbours. Kinda depressing.

Oh well you'll have that stuff before us, we only got our eqivelent of that BBC iPlayer thing in december and it's a crap Australian channel called ABC.

bleh the Special Edition has nothing special in it..I already have a EU copy in hand and the only things it comes with is a snazzy box with a voucher code for the 1st Episode Taxidermist DLC and a paper you need to fold that reveals something, or not lol.Other than that it's just like the standard copy of the game.
I don't know bout the US Special Edition though and what it comes with.

Yeah after actually looking into it the special edition mis nothing special at all, it contains the sountrack, a free dynamic theme download, “The Taxidermist DLC” and a rain effect slip case and here thats an extra $20 for the special edition.

This was retailing for the same price as the regular version here, so I've picked it up without too much of an impact on the finances

In the UK, the “Special Edition” is apparently going to be the same price as the other editions, and available at launch… Nice…
This i why i failed to understand why people were complaining, but at $20 extra and a delayed launch the “special edition” does look pretty crappy value… But it's very rare now that any extra content is really any good, especially with the added cost…
