OK just for the record this is the most frustrating trophy known to man! I now have 349/350 shards, ive checked the ones on youtube and i have them, so i am completely at a loss.
I have a L3 shaped indentation in my left thumb, and am about to launch the game out the window to see if it can static thrust its way safely to the ground. yes im a little annoyed lol!

Haha I had the exact same situation. Was stuck at 349 shards for what seems like forever. I went through the islands probably 3 times each, when I finally found the missing one it was on the first island and quite visible. Don't know how I could've missed it, oh well happy now

Do you get anything besides the trophy for getting them all? Like an in game award? I was a little dissapointed when I didn't get anything for collecting all the dead drops, but at least they provided some back story info. I don't expect to get much for collecting them… and trophies are cool and all, but I miss when games rewarded you more for stuff like this (like an infinite energy cheat so I can just mess around?). Thats the real reason I used to go through and do all the challenges in a game.

Na, you just get 5xp for collecting the last one like you do with the first and second and third and forth

and one hunderd twenty sixth and one hundered twenty seventh…

and three hundered fourty eighth and three hundered fourty nineth. So yeah nothing spectacural happeneds.

Just got Platinum, here is my thoughts about the game trophies: On paper some trophies look easy but infact they are not hard but quite tricky…

Here is a tip: Once you reach around 300 shards and you need to find the last 50 1st go to the place in neon described in one of my previous posts most likely you wont have that one…
2nd if you press select and look at your map you will notice big sections of buildings split up by the main roads… my advice would be to search each of these sections “properly”, and if you do it properly then you will get all 350 with ease.
if by the end you havernt got all 350 everywhere again… this may take up to 3 tries but its the easyest way ©

The shards sucked… The last two I found were the ones at the very top of the Stanton Building and the one between the Northeast piers in Neon District. For the other ones, the only real strategy is just get a map, open it up in Paint, then start searching the whole map one block/pier at a time, then cross 'em off as you go. At least the blue dots sorta get magnetized into your radar if you know what I mean.

Best way to get the shards i think is to run around the top of the building but to it block by block so you can easily remember which block you have done already. Then when completing this, just go around the edge of each island and you'll get the rest!
