'SCEE’s confirmed a Killzone 2 demo will release on Thursday, February 5.
The freebie will include the first two sections of the game’s first level, as well as the tutorial sequence from the boxed product.
The game releases on February 27.'
As I hate FPS' but loved the first Killzone. Will have to give this one a whirl. It would've been nice to sample the Multiplayer too.

lol while I admit RE5 was KINDA disapointing, its still pretty good, 9/10
i was expecting 10 though…..
woo only a few days till KZ2 which is getting 9.5s and 10s!!!

I never played first killzone but im getting all hyped up for Killzone 2 for some reason well hopefully this will be true cant wait

Have you even played a previous RE game? It doesn't sound like it, you can't expect a run and gun fps or whatever you're comparing it with since you seem to dislike it so much.

I dont think half of the people who are complaining about RE 5 demo have EVER played a previous RE game. Honestly, I am 26 years old and I was a mere teen when the first one was released on the original Playstation. Now, there are so many children on this forum, that they have never played any of the RE games. It is sad, because the original RE was hands down one of the greatest games ever. I also don't understand how ppl can judge a game by the demo or betas. Resistance 2 was a great demo/beta, but the game was total garbage. Killzone 2 is “supposed” to be a great demo/beta, but god can only imagine how the real game will turn out. So I wished ppl wouldnt judge games based on demos/betas. I use demos as a decision as to rent or not to rent. If the rent is great, then I'll buy a game. However, since I am a hardcore RE player and fanatic, it is a no brainer that I'll buy RE 5 and future ones without even thinking

what's garbage about RE5? the only thing garbage for me in RE5 was the storyline cause it ain't zombies no more…or it's only the demo cause it sucks..the past RE games was great..if any of you kids played them..but I got the say that this is gonna be one,if not the best,game of the year…for me that is..

Finally found a very smart man that thinks like me. I totally agree with you Pobert06. Maybe when I get my PS3 repaired, we will play online.

What happened to ditching sony? Only a week ago you were complaining and moaning you wanted to move to XBOX, yet you still come on the forums act as if everything is normal, the only child here is you.

i think RE tries harder every year to be a FPS-type game (laser scopes..ditching the top view…), and in that aspect , the demo of RE5 is a failure.thats whats being judged here , a demo , and it didnt make me wanna get the game. but as i pointed out , RE fans will love this. not being a fan , i dont. (the coop was fun for an hour , i admit.)
ps.i'm older than you,played RE when it was a different game and loved it.
pps.horror-adventure was a cool genre with alone in the dark , silent hill , RE…
ppps.thats kinda what a demo is for , judging a game (in any case its a very bad idea to release a demo thats not as good as your game will be)

WTF R U TALKING ABOUT RE DEMO? its thursday and no KZ2 demo. is it gonna B released l8er on today?
an as to RE demo. its ok if U lyk to run out of ammo in the first 10 seconds of the game. i definitely dont think this is worth 9/10 more lyk 7/10. and i have played other RE games and wat gets on my nerves is that after wat 10-20 years the earth shud B a waste land (as shown in the l8est movie (resident evil apoacalipse)) and completely overrun with ombies. there shud B lyk a fallout3 theme to it. and fallout 3 has better zombies thn this. and Bcause 1 of U will say dont judge a game by the demo. THATS WHY ITS THERE TO GIVE YOU AN INSIGHT INTO THE GAME! now beta’s R different. ok
